Installation Instructions

Remove lock-up knobs [A] and lock washers [B] from mounting
screws [E]. Retain knobs and lock washers. -
Attach mounting strap [D] to outlet box [G] using the strap
mounting screws [C]. Mounting strap can be adjusted to suit the
position of the fixture. -
Grounding Instructions:
-
a. On fixtures where the mounting strap is provided with a hole
and two raised dimples, wrap the ground wire from the outlet box
around the green ground screw and thread it into the hole. -
b. On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided, attach the
ground wire from the outlet box under the cupped washer and green
ground screw, and thread it into the mounting strap.
If the fixture is provided with a ground wire, connect the
fixture ground wire to the outlet box ground wire with a wire
connector after following the above steps. Never connect the ground
wire to black or white power supply wires.
- Make wire connections. Reference the chart below for correct

Note: When parallel wire (SPT 1 & SPT 2) are used. The
neutral wire is square shaped or ridged, and the other wire will be
round in shape or smooth (See illustration).
- NOTE: The fixture should be installed with
sockets [J] facing UP. Push the fixture to the wall, carefully
aligning the mounting screws protruding from the mounting strap
with holes in the canopy.
NOTE: Make sure all wires are inside the canopy
and do not get pinched between the mounting strap and canopy or
wall and canopy of the fixture.

Slip lock washers [B] over threads protruding through holes in
the canopy (2 places). -
Screw knobs [A] onto threads protruding through holes in the
canopy (2 places) and tighten to secure the fixture to the
wall. -
Carefully slip the small opening in the glass shade [I] over
socket [J]. Make sure the glass shade base is fully seated on
socket base [K]. -
While holding the glass shade on the socket base, secure the
glass shade by screwing socket ring [F] onto the threads of the
socket until snug against the inside surface of the glass shade. DO
NOT OVER-TIGHTEN. -
Repeat steps 8 and 9 for remaining glass shades.

Insert recommended bulb(s) (not included).

CAUTIONS CAUTION RISK OF SHOCK: Disconnect Power at the main circuit breaker
panel or main fusebox before starting and during the installation. WARNING: 1.
This fixture is intended for installation in accordance
with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specifications. If
you are not familiar with code requirements, installation by a certified
electrician is recommended. Failure to adhere to these codes and instructions
may result in serious injury and/or property damage and will void the
warranty. CLEANING: · Always be certain that electric current is turned off
before cleaning. · Only a soft damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning
products may damage the finish.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove lock-up knobs[A] and lock washers[B] from mounting screws[E].
Retain knobs and lock washers.
2. Attach mounting strap[D] to outlet box[G] using the strap mounting
screws[C]. Mounting strap can be adjusted to suit position of fixture.
3. Grounding instructions: (See Illus. a or b).
a. On fixtures where mounting strap is provided with a hole and two raised
dimples, wrap ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw, and
thread into hole.
b. On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided, attach ground wire from
outlet box under cupped washer and green ground screw, and thread into
mounting strap.
If fixture is provided with ground wire, connect fixture ground wire to outlet
box ground wire with wire connector after following the above steps. Never
connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires.

PRÉCAUTIONS ATTENTION RISQUE DE DÉCHARGES ÉLECTRIQUES : Couper le courant au
niveau du panneau du disjoncteur du circuit principal ou de la boîte à
fusibles principale avant de procéder à l’installation. ATTENTION : 1. Ce
luminaire doit être installé conformément aux codes
d’électricité nationaux (NEC) et satisfaire toutes les spécifications des
codes locaux. Si vous ne connaissez pas les exigences de ces codes, il est
recommandé de confier l’installation à un électricien certifié. Ne pas se
conformer à ces codes et directives pourrait provoquer des blessures sérieuses
et/ou des dommages matériels et rendre la garantie non valide. NETTOYAGE : ·
Soyez toujours certain que l’alimentation électrique du luminaire est fermée
avant le nettoyage. · N’utilisez qu’un chiffon doux humide. Les produits de
nettoyage acides/abrasifs peuvent endommager le fini.
INSTRUCTIONS D’INSTALLATION
1. Retirez les boutons[A] et les rondelles de blocage[B] des vis de montage
[E]. Conservez les boutons et les rondelles de blocage.
2. Fixer l’étrier de montage[D] sur la boîte à prises[G] à l’aide des vis de
fixation de l’étrier[C]. L’étrier de montage peut être réglé en fonction de la
position du luminaire.
3. Connecter les fils. Se reporter au tableau ci-dessous pour faire les
connexions.

*Remarque: Avec emploi d’un fil paralléle (SPT 1 et SPT 2). Le fil neutre est á angles droits ou strié et l’autre fil doit étre rond ou
lisse (Voir le schéma).

4. REMARQUE : Installer le luminaire avec les douilles[J] dirigées vers le
HAUT.
Poussez le luminaire contre le mur par-dessus les vis de montage dépassant de
l’étrier de montage.
REMARQUE : S’assurer que tous les fils sont à l’intérieur du cache et ne sont
pas coincés entre l’étrier de montage et le cache ou le mur et le cache du
luminaire.
5. Placez les rondelles de blocage[B] sur les filets dépassant des trous dans
le cache (2 endroits).
6. Vissez les boutons[A] sur les filetages dépassant des trous dans le cache
(2 endroits) et serrez pour fixer le luminaire au mur.
7. Faites glisser avec précaution le petit trou du cache en verre[I] sur la
douille[J]. Assurez-vous que la base du cache en verre est bien logée dans la
base de la douille[K].
8. Tout en maintenant le cache en verre sur la base de la douille, fixez le
cache en verre en vissant l’anneau de la douille[F] sur les filets de la
douille jusqu’au serrage contre la surface interne du cache en verre. NE PAS
SERRER EXCESSIVEMENT.
9. Répétez les étapes 7 et 8 pour les autres caches en verre.
10. Installez les ampoule recommandées (non fournies).

INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN
1. Retire las perillas[A] y las arandelas de seguridad[B] de los tornillos de montaje[E]. Guarde las perillas y las arandelas de seguridad.
2. Acople la abrazadera de montaje[D] a la caja de salida[G] con los tornillos de montaje de la abrazadera[C]. La abrazadera de montaje se puede ajustar para acomodar la posición del artefacto.
3. Instrucciones de conexión a tierra solamente para los Estados Unidos. (Vea la ilustracion a o b).
a. En las lámparas que tienen la abrazadera de montaje con un agujero y dos hoyuelos realzados, enrollar el alambre a tierra de la caja de salida alrededor del tornillo verde y pasarlo por el aquiero.
b. En las lámparas con una arandela acopada, fijar el alambre a tierra de la caja de salida del ajo de la arandela acoada y tornillo verde, y paser por a abrazadera de montaje.

Si la lámpara viene con alambre a tierra, conecter el alambre a tierra de la lámpara al alambre a tierra de la caja de salida con un conector de alambres espués de seguir los pasos anteriores. Nunca conectar el alambra a tierra a los alambres eléctros negro o blanco.

5. NOTA: El artefacto debe instalarse con los portalámparas[J] hacia ARRIBA.
Empuje el artefacto a la pared, alineando cuidadosamente los tornillos de
montaje que sobresalen de la abrazadera de montaje con los orificios en la
cubierta.
NOTA: Asegúrese de que todos los cables estén dentro de la cubierta y no
queden apretados entre la abrazadera de montaje y la cubierta o la pared y la
cubierta del artefacto.
6. Deslice las arandelas de seguridad[B] sobre las roscas que sobresalen a
través de los orificios de la cubierta (2 lugares).
7. Atornille las perillas[A] en las roscas que sobresalen a través de los
orificios de la cubierta (2 lugares) y apriételas para asegurar el artefacto a
la pared.
8. Deslice con cuidado la pequeña abertura de la pantalla de vidrio[I] sobre
el portalámparas[J]. Asegúrese de que la base de la pantalla de vidrio esté
completamente asentada en la base del portalámparas[K].
9. Mientras sujeta la pantalla de vidrio en la base del portalámparas, fije
la pantalla de vidrio enroscando el anillo del portalámparas[F] en las roscas
del portalámparas hasta que quede ajustado contra la superficie interior de la
pantalla de vidrio. NO APRIETE DEMASIADO.
10. Repita los pasos 8 y 9 para las demás pantallas de vidrio.
11. Inserte los focos recomendados (no incluidos).
