CAUTION – RISK OF SHOCK –
Disconnect Power at the main circuit breaker panel or main fuse box before
starting and during the installation.

Slip fixture over post and mark position of mounting holes in post.

Remove fixture from post.

Drill 3/16” dia holes in post at positions marked .

If fixture is provided with ground wire, connect fixture ground wire to outlet box ground wire with wire connector.
(Not provided). Never connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires. -
Grounding instructions: (See Illus. A or B)
A) On fixtures where mounting strap is provided with a hole and two raise dimples. Wrap ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw, and thread into hole.
B) On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided. Put ground wire from outlet box under cupped washer and green ground screw and thread screw into hole in mounting strap.
If fixture is provided with ground wire. Connect fixture ground wire to outlet box ground wire with wire connector, after following the above steps. Never connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires.

Make wire connections. Reference chart below for correct connections and wire accordingly
*Note: When parallel wires (SPT I & SPT II) are used. The neutral wire is square shaped or ridged and the other wire will be round in shape or smooth (see illus.) -
Slip fixture over post and secure in place using provided screws. Screws should slip into holes drilled in post.

Insert recommended bulb. (Not supplied)

Carefully, lower the glass down into the cage. Rest the bot- tom of the glass onto the edge at the bottom of the cage.

Lower the fixture roof down to the cage. Align the (2) holes on the roof with the (2) holes in the cage.

Screw in the flat-head screws into the holes from the top side of the roof. Tighten screws to secure into place.
