Battery Installation

Replace battery when LCD becomes dim or alarm level declines.

  1. Remove battery door in back by sliding in direction of arrow.
  2. Install 1.5V AAA battery observing polarity shown in compartment.
  3. The display will show all segments and a “beep” will sound.
  4. Replace battery door.

Operating Instructions

Set Alarm

  1. Slide switch on the back to BEEP or VIBRATE to select alarm mode.

Count Down

  1. Enter the time to be counted on the 1 – 0 keypad. For example, to count 3 minutes exactly, enter 3 0 0 for three minutes, zero seconds. To count 9 hours, 45 minutes and 30 seconds, enter 9 4 5 3 0.

  2. Press START/STOP to start the count down. Press START/STOP button to interrupt the count. Press START/STOP button again to resume the count.

  3. To clear the count before reaching zero, stop the count by pressing START/STOP. Then press the CLEAR button.
    Note: The count must first be stopped to prevent accidental clearing of the display.

  4. On reaching zero the alarm will sound for oneminute, the display will flash and will start to count up to indicate the overtime since reaching zero. The maximum overtime is 10 hours.

  5. Press START/STOP to stop the alarm and the count up. The last count is recalled.

  6. Press CLEAR to reset to 0:0000.

Count Up

  1. When the timer is stopped, press CLEAR to reset to 0:0000.
  2. Press START/STOP to begin the count up to a maximum of 10 hours.
  3. Press START/STOP to interrupt the count. Press START/STOP again to resume the count.
  4. To clear the display, press START/STOP to stop the count. Then, press CLEAR to reset the display to 0:0000.

  • Avoid contact with any corrosive materials such as perfume, alcohol or cleaning agent.
  • Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
