Installation
Warning:
Please make sure that the computer is powered off when operating the steps
below.
Hard Drive Installation

Screw the 4 screws into the holes on the two sides of the 3.5” hard drive. (For a rack-mount chassis, please first put silicone shims on the screws and then screw them into the hard drive);

Slide the hard drive through the four slideways into Slot 1 or 2, slightly push the hard drive rightward and then downward to snap it in;
Note:
When installing two 3.5’’ hard drives onto the bracket, please make sure that the SATA interfaces of the two drives do not align, or say, one on the left and one on the right, so that the cables will not disturb each.
How to Mount the Bracket (Please follow the steps below strictly)
- Open the Mac Pro case;
- Connect power adapter into the power input d on motherboard;
- Plug the SATA adapters ཱrespectively into the SATA interface e on motherboard;
- Use tool to remove the two inner plum screws a ;
- Aim the two top slideways ི of the bracket at the screws b at the top of the Mac Pro, and slide the bracket into the Mac Pro;
- Push the bracket rightward and the three holes ཱི on the back of the bracket will be snapped into the mounting columns c inside the Mac Pro;
- Use tools back plate a to align the screw holes ུ on the bracket and Mac Pro, and then fix the plum screws;
- Plug the SATA adapter ཱུ into the HDD
