Installation Instructions
- READ BEFORE ATTEMPTING INSTALLATION
- ALWAYS TURN OFF THE MAIN POWER BEFORE INSTALLATION
- INSTALLATION SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT BY YOUR LOCAL ELECTRICIAN
WARNING – Risk of shock. An electric current can cause painful shock or
serious injury unless handled properly. For your safety, always remember to
turn off the power supply at the fuse or circuit breaker box before you
install the fixture and ground the fixture to avoid potential electrical
shocks and to ensure reliable starting.
WARNING – Risk of cuts. Some metal parts in the fixture may have sharp
edges. To prevent cuts and scrapes, wear gloves when handling the parts.
IMPORTANT – This equipment is intended to be installed only by qualified
personnel. The installation must be made per the current edition of the
National Electric Code and all applicable state and local building codes. The
final installation must be approved by the appropriate qualified
electrical/building inspector(s). Improper installation may result in a fire
or electrical hazard. Be sure the electrical power to the circuit has been
disconnected before installing this electrical system.

JUNCTION BOX INSTALLATION
TURN OFF THE MAIN POWER BEFORE INSTALLATION
- Make sure the power is off.
- Locate a suitable position to install the luminaire and cut a 1-15/16″ diameter hole in the ceiling. (Figure 1)
- Run power supply leads through the hole. Use NMD90 Romex or BX Cable.
- Open the remote junction box cover and remove the appropriate knockouts.
- Insert power supply leads through the knockout and secure with a cable connector. (not included)
- Using push-in connectors, connect the same coloured power supply lead wires to the junction box wires. (Figure 2)
- Place all wiring and connections back into the remote junction box and close the cover.
- Place the junction box through the mounting hole and secure it (Figure 3).
LUMINAIRE INSTALLATION
- Connect the LED module to the junction box by inserting and twisting the male/female connector. (Figure 1)
- Push spring-loaded clips on the fixture upwards and insert the fixture base into the mounting hole. Release the clips and the fixture will be pulled flush to the ceiling. (Figure 2)
- Do not place the junction box above the luminaire. (Figure 3)
- Once assembly is complete, turn on the power to confirm the fixture is working properly.

- Q: What should I do before attempting installation?
- A: Always turn off the main power before installation to prevent electric shocks. Installation should be carried out by a local electrician.
- Q: How do I connect the LED module to the junction box?
- A: Insert and twist the male/female connector of the LED module into the junction box.
- Q: How do I mount the fixture flush to the ceiling?
- A: Push the spring-loaded clips on the fixture upwards, insert the fixture base into the mounting hole, and then release the\ clips.
- Q: Can I place the junction box above the luminaire?
- A: No, ensure that the junction box is not placed above the luminaire.
