Safety Precautions
Before Installation:
- Read the user manual carefully before installing the product.
- Ensure the power is turned off before starting the installation process.
- Do not install the light strip near any heat sources or in areas with high humidity.
Installation Steps
Back of TV:

Peel off the adhesive tape and affix the light strip to the back of the TV, starting from the bottom left corner and moving clockwise. Use clips to secure the strip in corners.

Connect the light strip to the LED Strip Type-C port of the
sync box. -
Use an HD cable to connect Apple TV or other signal sources to the Input port of the sync box.

Connect your TV or monitor to the Output port of the sync box using the data cable.

Power up the light strip by plugging in the power adapter.

Initiate the connection with the Smart Life APP to control the light strip.
Note: When powered on for the first time, the light strip will illuminate from end to end. The sync box will automatically detect the number of IC chips in the light strip and configure the aspect ratio to 16:9 without requiring manual intervention.
Getting Ready for Use
- Downloading the MOES App:
- The MOES App offers enhanced compatibility compared to Tuya Smart/Smart Life App.
- Install the MOES Application on your device.
- Access the Register/Login interface; select Register to create an account. Enter your phone number to receive a verification code and set a password. If you already have a MOES account, choose Log in.
- Wi-Fi Linking (Two pairing methods):
- First method: Scan the QR code to initiate the network configuration guide.
- Ensure your MOES App is successfully connected to Wi-Fi.
- Second method: Establish a seamless connection by pairing and synchronizing the WiFi code through Bluetooth and WiFi simultaneously.
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networks.
- Launch the MOES/Tuya App and tap on the + icon. The setup prompt will automatically appear on the screen. Click on add.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password and click Next, then wait for the connection process to complete.
- Choose the specific device you wish to add and click the + icon. Once the device is successfully added, you can customize its name. Click Done to enter the device page.

Sync Box
- Wi-fi: Stay illuminated when successfully connected, flash if connection fails.
- Auto: Activate when enabling “Setting Sync TV Switch” in Smart Life app.
- LED Strip: Establish connection with the light strip.
- Light Bar: Connect the Ambient light bar (if not connected).
- DC: Connect the power adapter.
- Microphone: Capture surrounding sounds.
- Output: Establish connection with your TV or monitor.
- Hd: Flash to indicate HD signal input (located between “INPUT” and “OUTPUT”).
- Input: Connect signal sources like Apple TV, Fire TV Stick, PS4, and others.
- Reset: Long press this button for 5s to restore the sync box to factory default settings.
- Tv: Connect to your TV using a micro USB cable (not included). The light strip synchronizes with your television, turning on/off simultaneously. Note: If this port is connected and the “AUTO” light is on, the light strip cannot be controlled via the app when the TV is off.

Safety Precautions:
- Do not cut the LED light strip.
- Before installation, clean and dry the back of the TV. Remove any conductive objects like nails or screws from the installation surface to prevent short circuits.
- Avoid bending the LED components during installation to ensure the service life of the LED light strip.
- Keep the product away from sharp objects, water, corrosive chemicals, open flames, heat sources, high temperatures, and humid environments. Place it out of children’s reach.
- Be cautious of static electricity during installation and usage. Stop using if the power adapter or cord is damaged; always use the original power adapter.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the product yourself.
- Do not power on the LED light strip before fully unreeling it.
Before Installation
- Clean and dry the back of the TV and remove any conductive objects like nails or screws from the installation surface.
- Unreel the LED light strip and power it on to confirm proper functionality before installation.
Installation Steps
- Peel off the adhesive tape and affix the light strip to the back of the TV, moving clockwise from the bottom left corner. Secure the strip in corners using clips.
- Connect the light strip to the “LED Strip” Type-C port of the sync box.
- Use an HD cable to link Apple TV or other signal sources to the “Input” port of the sync box.
- Connect your TV or monitor to the “Output” port of the sync box using the data cable.
- Power up the light strip by plugging in the power adapter.
- Initiate the connection with the Smart Life APP to control the light strip.

Downloading the MOES App
The MOES App offers enhanced compatibility compared to Tuya Smart/Smart Life
App. It functions seamlessly for scene control via Siri, widgets, and
personalized scene recommendations, providing a fully new and customized
service. (Note: Tuya Smart/Smart Life App still functions, but it is highly
recommended to use the MOES App for an improved experience.)
Register or Log In
Install the “MOES” Application on your device.
Access the Register/Login interface; select “Register” to create an account.
Enter your phone number to receive a verification code and set a password. If
you already have a MOES account, choose “Login.”
Wi-Fi Linking (Two pairing methods)
First method

Reseting and Pairing Wi-Fi
Hold down the “RESET” button for 5 seconds until the light strip flashes to reset the sync box to its factory default settings.
Troubleshooting
Issue: Fail to Turn On/Control the Light Strip

Ensure the power supply is connected properly.

Verify the correct connection of the data cable and ensure the signal sources are functioning normally.

Check if the Type-C cable of the light strip is securely plugged in.

Confirm if the “TV” port of the sync box is connected to your TV. If the sync TV switch in the APP is ticked, the light strip cannot be controlled via the APP when your TV is off.

To reset the sync box to factory default settings, press and hold the “RESET” button for 5 seconds until the light strip flashes. Refer to the user manual for reconnection instructions with the Smart Life APP.

Issue: Fail to Connect with the APP

Ensure the light strip is powered on.

Verify that Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) on your phone is enabled.

Make sure both your smartphone and the light strip are connected to the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (5 GHz is not supported).

Double-check the Wi-Fi password for accuracy and ensure the light strip is within the signal coverage of the router.

Follow the steps outlined in the user manual’s “Pairing Your Device” section to reconnect with the APP.
Issue: Colors of the Light Strip Are Not in Sync with the TV -
Verify if the installation direction aligns with the orientation indicated in the user manual. Refer to the “Installation Steps” section for guidance.

Check if the device is set to video mode or wide film mode; colors in other modes may not sync with the TV.
Issue: Fail to Have Screen Sync Light Effects When Using TV’s Built-in App -
Note that the sync box requires HD signal input through a data cable to enable screen sync function; it does not support built-in apps.
Conection Between Voice Activated Speaker and LED Strip

Network Configuration in the App:
Set up the device’s network configuration following the prompts in the App. Note: Rename the device to something easily recognizable, like “Alexa,” in English, for easier identification, such as “bed light.” -
Connecting Smart Device to Amazon Alexa:

Launch the MOES App, sign in to your account, and ensure the Smart Device is listed.

Minimize the MOES App, then open the Alexa App, sign in, and ensure you have at least one Alexa-controlled device installed, such as Echo Dot, etc.

In the bottom right corner of the Home page, press the button to access the APP Menu. Select from the menu.

Click the search button in the upper right corner, type “MOES” in the search box, and search.
5. Enable MOES Smart Skill, then sign in to your MOES account to complete the setup.
6. After successful login, allow Alexa 20 seconds to search for devices. Once the device is discovered, your MOES application is paired with Alexa. Clicking will display all available devices in your APP, enabling control of smart devices through Alexa.
Connecting Smart Device to Google Home:
- Launch the Google Home App and ensure the Google Home speaker is installed. If not, follow the Google Home speaker installation instructions to complete the setup.
- Open the Google Home app, click the plus sign in the top left corner to access the “add and manage” page, then click “Set up device”.
- Enter “MOES” in the search box and search for it. Enable MOES smart skills, and then log in to your MOES account to complete the setup. After successful login, wait 20 seconds for device discovery. Once the device is found, your MOES application is paired with Google Home. All available smart devices are displayed on the homepage upon returning, allowing you to control your devices using Google Home.
Warranty Conditions
