Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it properly.

Installation position and lighting direction

Parameters in the figure:
M: Distance from the frame’s outer edge to wall
H: Distance from top edge of light projection to celling
N: Light projection area
Adjust the distance (M) from rooflight to wall based on your height (H) of light projection via a formula M=3.3H.

Installation

Installing a single light on aluminum gusset ceiling

1. According to the width of the aluminum gusset ceiling joist, select joist connectors in the appropriate size, and mount the joist connectors onto the bottom of the rooflight with screws.
   

2. Install the rooflight on the celling joist with joist connectors and then connect the power.
   (*Please consider the lighting direction when installing the connectors.）
   

3. Put the frame upside down into the slot, remove the protective film and complete the installation.
   

Installing multiple lights in serial on aluminum gusset ceiling

The product supports unlimited serial installation of lights in horizontal or vertical direction.

• Horizontal installation
  After you are finished with the first rooflight, you can install more rooflights to the left or right of the first one in the same way as the first one
  

• Vertical installation
  ➀ After you are finished with the first rooflight, remove the two connector brackets at the bottom of the second rooflight to be installed in vertical direction. Simply loosen the screws on the inner side of the rooflight to remove each  connector bracket.
  ➁ Install another rooflight in the vertical rear of the first rooflight, with one side lapped on the tail step of the first rooflight and the other fixed to the joist of the aluminum gusset ceiling through connectors. Then, connect the power.
  ➂Put the frame upside down into the joist slot in the same way as described earlier. Remove the protective film and complete the installation.
  

Note that with vertical installation, the rooflights following the first one can only be installed along one direction. Therefore, the first rooflight must be installed at the very beginning.

Installation with a hanging rope

Note: You need to purchase a separate accessory kit for installation with a hanging rope.
This installation method works for virtually every form of ceiling, including gypsum board integrated ceilings, plastic board integrated ceilings, and those without a suspended ceiling. Now, let’s look at how to install the light on a gypsum board integrated ceiling.

Accessories list:

1. Drill a hole on the ceiling
   Select protruding or recessed mounting according to your preference.
   • Protruding mounting
   Recommended size of mounting hole: 636×327mm
   Gap between ceiling and suspended ceiling ≥200mm
   •  Recessed installation
   Recommended size of mounting hole: 651×345mm
   Gap between ceiling and suspended ceiling ≥200mm
   

2. Use 3 screws to fix hanger brackets to the rooflight.
   

3. Fix the hanger to the bracket.
   

4. Drill 4 holes with a 10# drill bit with a hole spacing of 612*245mm
   

5. Fix the hanging rope with hanging ring to the appropriate hole through expansion screws.
   

6. Power it on, connect the hanger and the hanging rope to install the rooflight tp the ceiling.
   （*Please consider the lighting direction when installing the connectors.）

7. Adjust the installation height by hangers.
   For different frame installation methods, the relative height of the rooflight and the ceiling needs to be adjusted to the following different values.
   • Protruding mounting
   The relative height from the bottom of the rooflight to the bottom of the ceiling is supposed to be 19.5mm.
   • Recessed mounting
   The relative height from the bottom of the rooflight to the bottom of the ceiling is supposed to be 29.5mm.
   

8. Install the safety rope for the magnetic frame in the diagonal direction, and fix the magnetic frame to the rooflight through a strong magnet, remove the protective film and complete the installation.
   

9. This hanging rope-based method supports unlimited serial installation of multiple lights, with each light installed in the same way. The hole spacing of the hanging rope between adjacent rooflights is X=40mm in horizontal  direction and Y=70mm in vertical direction.

Wireless Connection

You can use the APP to control the product intelligently together with a Yeelight Pro Bluetooth Mesh gateway, which needs to be purchased separately;

• Yeelight Pro APP
  Open the Yeelight Pro APP, add rooms according to the instructions, open the corresponding room where the device needs to be installed, tap to add a device, select “Scan QR Code” to scan the Mac address on the package or the device to complete the required steps before connecting the product to the network.

• Connect devices to network in batch
  After installing the products in the rooms, power them on. Tap “Bind All” in the APP to complete network pairing configurations (you should install the gateway and router first)

Remote control connection instructions

Keep the remote control and the Yeelight Pro rooflight P21 in the same room, turn on the rooflight, do the following operations within 10 minutes: press the “OFF” and “Color Temperature -” keys on the remote control at the same time,when the indicator light of the remote control flashes, release the keys,it is connecting.
The device to be controlled appears a completion prompt, that is, the connection is successful.

Function description

Button mode description
After long pressing the “Color Temperature -” button, the Yeelight Pro rooflight P 21 will perform a rhythm mode, and the device will repeatedly simulate the change from blue sky to dusk in a very short period of time. Press any other  button on the remote control to exit the rhythm mode.

How to reset

Use a physical switch to turn on and off the light 5 times in a row(on/off for 2 seconds each time), the light will breathe for 5 seconds, then it will restart automatically, the light is successfully reset

Warning

1. Please make sure that the voltage you use is suitable for the operating voltage of this product before use. Using inappropriate voltage may damage the product and pose a safety hazard.
2. The light source of this lamp is a non-user replacement light source, please replace the light source by a professional;
3. When installing, removing or checking the lamp, please make sure the power is turned off;
4. The lamp will generate heat during work, please keep the surrounding air convection in order to dissipate heat;
5. The replacement of flexible cables or cords can only be carried out by the manufacturer, its agents or similarly qualified persons.

Do not cover the lamp with insulating materials.
