3. Secure Cords or Chains: Properly fasten the cords or chains to the chosen driving gear to guarantee smooth functionality.
4. Consider Blind Engine Fixing Options: Explore various installation methods for the blind engine fixing plate to find the most suitable one for your setup.
5. Secure Cover Plate: Remove any obstructions, such as teeth, from where the cords or chains emerge on the cover plate. Afterward, securely lock the cover in place.
6. Connect Solar Panel or Sensor: Connect the solar panel or sensor to the blind engine. Take care to avoid wire entanglement during this process for efficient and trouble-free operation.

Power On

• Press the settings button for one second.
• Blue indicator will flash for two seconds.

Power Off

• Press the settings button for seven seconds.
• Blue indicator will flash slowly three times.

Restoring Factory Settings: Motor Automatically Exits Programming Mode After 30 Seconds of Inactivity. Note: Restoring to Factory Settings Will Delete All Previous Customizations.

Getting Ready for Use

Downloading the MOES App

The MOES App offers enhanced compatibility compared to the Tuya Smart/Smart Life App. It functions seamlessly with Siri for scene control, provides widgets, and offers scene recommendations as part of its brand-new, customized service. (Please note: While the Tuya Smart/Smart Life App still works, we highly recommend using the MOES App.)

Register or Log In

• Access the Register/Login Interface: Click “Register” to create an account. Enter your phone number to receive a verification code and set your password. If you already have a MOES account, select “Log in.”

Setting Up Your Device

1. Ensure your Smart MOES Smart APP is successfully connected to a Zigbee gateway.
2. Simultaneously press the “Settings” and “Down” buttons for 3 seconds. The blue light will flash three times quickly to indicate the successful operation.
3. Open the MOES App and enter the gateway. Refer to the image below for guidance: “Add subdevice → LED blinks → Connecting (may take 10-120 seconds depending on your network condition).“
4. Once the device is successfully added, you can customize its name. Click “Done” to enter the device page.
5. Click “Done” to access the device page and start enjoying your smart home automation experience.

Common Motor Issues and Solutions

Issue: Motor Doesn’t Work or Runs Slowly

Possible Causes:

• Overloaded motor.
• Improper installation causing motor to get stuck.

Solution:

• Choose the appropriate motor for your application.
• Double-check the motor installation for any obstructions.

Issue: Motor Suddenly Stops Working

Possible Causes:

• Power outage.
• Motor activates overload protection due to excessive load.

Solution

• Charge the motor to ensure it has adequate power supply.
• Examine if the motor is overloaded or stuck, rectify the issue.

Issue: Motor Doesn’t Work While Charging

• Possible Cause: Charger plugged into the sensor connection port.
• Solution: Ensure the charger is connected to the designated charger port.

Additional Tips

• Be vigilant and avoid confusion between the 8,4 VDC charger port and the sensor connection port during troubleshooting.
• Careful attention to these details can prevent errors.
