Button Introduction

Power ON/OFF Procedure

Power ON
Using the receiver to connect the device, short press the HOME Button to turn the Controller on.

Power OFF
Press and hold the BACK button + B button for about 3 seconds, the Controller will be turned off.

1. When the controller is connected, it will automatically shut down if it has not been used for 10 minutes.
2. When the controller is unconnected, it will automatically shut down if it has not been used for 2 minutes.
3. When the power can’t support normal use of the controller, it will shut down automatically.

Light Introduction

*The indicator light refers to the RGB aperture on the outer edge of the HOME Button.
Under normal connection, the indicator light shows white.
The state of indicator light can be customized through the BEITONG Gamepad Assistant.

Connection Tutorial

Connect to Nintendo Switch
NOTE: not support motion control for sensing games

2.4G Receiver Connection
Go to [System Settings – Controller and Sensors] to turn on [Pro Controller Wired Communication].
OTG cable is required for Switch Console.
*2.4G Receiver not the Bluetooth Receiver.

1. Connect the 2.4G receiver to the USB port of the Switch dock.
2. Press and hold LB + HOME button in power-off state to turn on the controller until the indicator light flashes in multi-colors and then release.
3.  Then press LB + RB until the controller pairs to Switch successfully.

This is required for the very first only, just need to press HOME button to turn on the controller to re-connect.
Wired Connection
Go to [System Settings – Controller and Sensors] to turn on [Pro Controller Wired Communication].
*OTG cable is required for Switch Console.

1. Connect the controller to Switch dock via USB-C cable.
2. Press and hold LB + HOME button in power-off state to turn on the controller until the indicator light flashes in multi-colors and then release.
3. Then press LB + RB until the controller pairs to Switch successfully.

*This is required for the very first only, just need to press HOME button to turn on the controller to re-connect.
If fail to connect to Nintendo Switch, please try to reconnect follow these step.

1. Turn off the Screen of Switch Console and then turn on it again, go into system settings then scroll down until you see controllers and sensors and select that, scroll down again and select disconnect controllers and then at this screen you just long press the X button and it will remove all controllers that are paired to the switch.
2. Press and hold the RB + BACK Button + RS + HOME Button to turn on the controller until the indicator light flashes, and then press and hold the BACK Button + B to turn off the controller. After that, press the LB + HOME Button to turn on the controller again, select “change grip/order” to re-pair.

NOTE: If the controller has been already connected to the Switch, you could re-connect by pressing the HOME Button of the controller, when there is no other device connected.

Connect to Computer/Laptop
2.4G Receiver Connection

1. Connect the 2.4G receiver to the USB port of the PC.
2. Press HOME button to turn on the controller.
3. Connection is successful when controller vibrates, the indicator light stays solid.

Wired Connection

1. Connect the controller to PC via USB-C cable.
2. Press HOME button to turn on the controller.
3. Connection is successful when controller vibrates, the indicator light stays solid.

Connect to Android TV
Required system: Android 4.0 or above
2.4G Receiver Connection
For a more stable connection, it’s recommended to use an extension cable to connect the TV to receiver.

1. Connect the 2.4G receiver to the USB port of the TV.
2. Press HOME button to turn on the controller.
3. Connection is successful when controller vibrates, the indicator light stays solid.

Wired Connection

1. Connect the controller to TV via USB-C cable.
2. Press HOME button to turn on the controller.
3. Connection is successful when controller vibrates, the indicator light stays solid.

Personalized Configuration

*About the assistant software, it supports personalized function setting/key test/firmware upgrade.
It’s recommended to download according to gamer’s needs, but do not affect basic use of the controller without downloading.

2. Download the software “BEITONG Gamepad Assistant” from BEITONG official website on your PC/laptop (DO NOT ENTER THE WEBSITE ON YOUR PHONE): https://www.betop-cn.com/en/#/down
   ( Note: If you enter the Chinese Official Website, please set the language in the upper right corner to English, and then click the DOWNLOAD enter into the download page.)

3. Use USB cable to connect the Controller and computer together

4. Run the software “BEITONG Gamepad Assistant ” to set up the Controller function.
   NOTE:
   ①It’s recommended to confirm upgrade if prompted for a firmware upgrade,to experience any updated features.
   ②In order to use the BEITONG Gamepad Assistant normally, the Gamepad must be connected to the computer with USB cable.
   ③Please feel free to run our secure program,if it can’t be downloaded and run normally, try again after closing the antivirus software.
   ④If the firmware upgrade fails due to factors such as signal disconnection, disconnection or poor contact, please unplug the USB cable and then re-plug again to resume the firmware upgrade.

   Customizable Buttons & TURBO Button Frequency Adjustment
   

6. After entering the “BEITONG Gamepad Assistant “, click any button value to enter the button valu modification interface.

7. And then press “Button” enter the customizable button interface, you can modify the button value according to your needs, click the “Restore Default” button, you can cancel all button modification operations and return to the default state.

8. Manually adjust the number in the “Turbo” Button function in the “Button” tab to change the Turbo frequency.
   The default frequency of the Turbo button is 10 times/second, and the maximum frequency is 30 times/second.

Vibration Customization & indicator light Adjustment

1. Click the “Settings” button in the main interface to enter the advanced settings interface.
2. And then press “Basic” enter the Basic Setting interface, Drag the “Vibration” slide to adjust the vibration intensity. The vibration motors on the left and right sides each have five gears that can be adjusted.
   *Configuration Name can be customized
3. The “Light” adjustment settings of the “Basic” tab can modify the color, brightness, frequency and work type of the Controller’s indicator light as needed.

Adjust the Sensitivity of the Joystick

1. Click the “Settings” button in the main interface to enter the advanced settings interface.
2. And then press “Joystick” enter the Joystick interface, the sensitivity of the left and right joysticks of the Controller can be individually set.

Button Macro Function
*BEITONG ASURA 2PRO Series supports custom macro settings for LB/RB, M1/M2 back buttons.

1. In the Button Interface, click the “Default” button of any button of LB/RB, M1/M2 enter into the next interface.
2. On the next interface, click the “Default” button in the upper right corner, then click to select “Set Macro” in the drop-down menu.
3. Press the desired button combination in the Controller to form a macro command, and then click “Save” to complete the button macro setting.

Custom Sleep Time of the Controller and Calibration Function

1. Click the “Settings” button in the main interface to enter the advanced settings interface.
2. In the “Function” tab, the sleep time can be adjusted, also can calibrate the joystick and trigger.

TURBO Button Introduction

Press and hold the Turbo button in the power-on state, and then press any button to set the Turbo function, repeat this operation to cancel the Turbo function.
*Action Button: A / B / X / Y / LB / RB / LT / RT

SHIFT Button Introduction
Press gently [SHIFT Key] to enable/disable the function of switching between the left joystick and D-pad.
NOTE: If the left joystick suddenly doesn’t work, please try to press SHIFT button first.
Pairing Clearance
Press RB + BACK + RS + HOME button in the power-off state to turn on the controller, all pairing information of controller can be actively cleared.
Joystick Calibration
Controller Assistant also support joystick and trigger calibration
If you encounter problems of Joystick such as drift, not work, or inability to return to the middle, you can try to use the joystick calibration function to solve:
Step 1: Press the START button + BACK button in the power-on state, and then press the Right Joystick(RS) to enter the calibration mode.
After entering the joystick calibration state successfully, the indicator light turns pink.

Step 2: Turn the left and right Joystick clockwise 2-3 turns.

Step 3: After completing the calibration operation, press the START Button + BACK Button at the same time, and then press the Right Joystick(RS) to exit the calibration.

• After exiting the calibration mode, the indicator light returns to the multi-color flashing state.

FAQ

Driver, please long press the HOME Button to change mode, when [Xbox 360 Controller for Windows] is displayed, it means the mode switch is successful. 3.
