Before Use
Please read this manual carefully before using the appliance. Only connect
the appliance to an earthed wall socket. Basic safety precautions should
always be followed to avoid fires, electric shocks, burns, or other injuries
and damage.
Special Safeguards
Using the Kettle
The kettle is equipped with an overheating safeguard. If operated without
sufficient water, it will automatically switch off. If this happens, let the
kettle cool down for at least 10 minutes before using it again.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Before cleaning, switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power source. Allow it to cool down.
- Clean the outside of the kettle and base with a sponge or slightly wet linen. Do not put them in the dishwasher.
- Do not immerse the kettle or any other part of the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners, gritting, or metal brushes. Do not use sharp objects to clean.
Downscaling
The appliance is equipped with an integral heating element, so limescale will
not be formed. However, if you still want to descale the appliance:
- Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the appliance to cool.
- Remove the descaling filter for cleaning.
- Fill the kettle with a vinegar solution up to the MAX level and bring it to a boil.
- Let the vinegar solution stand in the kettle for a couple of hours.
- Empty the kettle, fill it with clean water up to the MAX level, and bring it to a boil. Empty the kettle. Repeat this process twice.
Note: Never use ammonia or other products to descale the appliance. Use only a vinegar solution or special descaling agents available from retailers.
Storage
- Ensure the unit is completely cool and dry before storing.
- Wrap the cord around the base of the appliance to avoid damage.
- Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.

SPECIAL SAFEGUARDS

USE OF THE MACHINE
Before using the machine for the first time: Rinse the inside kettle. Remove possible manufacturing process residues by boiling 3 full kettles of water. Dispose this water.
- Fill half of the tank of fresh water. (without addendum of any product).
- Put the switch on “ON “position The light goes on, showing that water begins heating up.
- When boiling, the apparatus goes out automatically
- Raise the kettle with circumspection and empty water in a sink by watching out not to splash (risk of scald).
- The apparatus is ready to be used.
USING
- Put the electric charger base on a flat surface.
- Fill the kettle with fresh water (without any additives.).
Note: Do not overfill! Use the water level indicator.
- Place the cover
- Place the kettle on the base.
- Only connect the machine to a properly installed 230V~ 50Hz safety socket.
(check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is the same as that of the machine. Details can be found on the label on the base)
- switch the machine to position “1”. The illuminated light on the kettle indicates that the water is heating.
- When boiling the machine switches off automatically.
- Take the kettle and carefully pour into the glass or mug
Note: Take care to avoid any burn.
Do not press up the lid when pouring.
Overheating safeguard
The jug kettle is fitted with an overheating safeguard. This will switch off
the jug kettle if it is operated without (sufficient) water. Let the kettle
cool down for 10 minutes at least.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning switch off the appliance, Always disconnect the device and to let it cool before cleaning.
- Clean the outside of the apparatus with a sponge or slightly wet linen. Never put the kettle or base in the dishwasher.
- Never plunge the apparatus in water or all other liquid!
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, gritting, or metal brush or another cutting object.
NOTE: Do not use sharp objects such as hard bushes to clean.
Descaling
This appliance is equipped with an integral heating element, and consequently, limescale will not be formed. Consequently, you do not need to descaled the appliance. However, if you nevertheless do wish to descale the appliance:
- Remove the plug from the wall socket, and allow the appliance to cool.
- The jug kettle is fitted with a descaling filter. This filter must be removed for cleaning.
- Fill the jug with a vinegar solution to the MAX level, and bring to a boil.
- Leave the jug with the vinegar solution to stand for a couple of hours.
- Empty the jug, fill with clean water to the MAX level, and bring to a boil. Empty the jug. Repeat this process twice.
NOTE: Never use ammonia or other products to descale the appliance. These can be injurious to your health. Use solely a vinegar solution, or special descaling agents available from retailers.
STORAGE
- Ensure the unit is completely cool and dry.
- Only wrap the cord around the base of the appliance, not to cause damage.
- Keep the appliance in a cool, dry place.
