How to Remove and Reposition a Smart Plug Appliance
Description
The Smart Plug Appliance is a device that allows you to control the power supply of any compatible appliance. It features a 3 prong plug and can be easily connected to an electrical outlet. The Smart Plug can be added to your Smart Home Mesh Network, which includes other electrically or battery powered devices such as smart light bulbs, smart thermostats, smart door locks, etc. These devices communicate with each other and can repeat signals to ensure a seamless smart home experience.This page shows how to remove and reposition a Smart Plug Appliance. The Appliance Smart Plug will have a 3 prong plug in. It can be used with any appliance that can be powered off.

Product Usage Instructions
Removal of a Smart Plug
- Make sure the Smart Plug is unplugged from the power outlet.
- The Smart Plug will be immediately disconnected once it’s unplugged.
- As soon as the Smart Plug has been unplugged from ac power, it will be immediately disconnected. Important Considerations When Repositioning a Smart Plug
- A Smart Plug can be added to your Smart Home Mesh Network Your Smart Home Mesh Network may also include electrically or battery powered devices such as smart light bulbs, smart plugs, smart thermostats, smart door locks which also repeat the signal and communicate with other devices
Repositioning of a Smart Plug
- Place the Smart Plug into an electrical outlet.
- Open the TELUS Smart Home App on your device.
- Click on the menu button located at the top left corner of the app.
- Select “Add Device” from the menu.
- Choose “Lighting and Appliance Control” from the options.
- Select “Go Control Plug-In for Appliances with Night Light”.
- Click on “Begin Installation”.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
- Trigger the Plug by pressing the button on the device twice.
- Name your Device.
- Your Plug-In should now be successfully added to your Smart Home Mesh Network.
- Your Plug-In should now be added
