Fostex TM USA TM2 True Wireless Stereo Earphone

-If the Left unit is the first to update-
(Update can be done whichever first, either Left unit or Right unit.) When updating the TM2 firmware, keep connecting USB cable and energizing the cradle all the time. In the case of TM2C, the cradle has a rechargeable battery installed, keep the battery with enough power level. Make sure that the TM2 main units also have enough power level. When starting to update, remove both TM2 main units from the cradle, then Connect the Left unit first with smartphone using the ordinary pairing method, and then couple the Left and Right.

CONNECTION

1. Starting up the application without connecting the TM2, the iPhone screen shows “DISCONNECTED”
2. When the connection is just completed or it has already been connected, the screen displays as shown in the drawing. It will then automatically move on to the main screen
3. Only if the connected TM2 firmware version is old, the screen will show the recommendation for an update. Push the “CUSTOMER SUPPORT” button.
4. Push the “UPDATE” button to open the update page.
5. Pushing the “UPDATE/START” button will start the firmware update
6. The update is taking place, and after approx 4 min, the status bar will reach 100%
7. When at 100%, it will automatically execute the update process, restarting It will pronounce “Power ON”
8. When the update process is completed, the screen will change to the completion page. Push the “OK” button to finish the process.
9. Since the screen changes to “DISCONNECTED” place only the Left unit to the cradle and turn the power OFF.

Automatic switch over from Left unit to Right unit

If updating the firmware from Ver. 2.9, in the case of TM2, put the updated Left unit in the cradle that is energized by connecting the USB cable, and in the case of TM2C, put it in the charging case to energize the Left unit. The power on the Left unit is turned off, the master will be automatically switched to the Right unit, and the update on the Right unit will be completed. Depending on the environment, the whole process may take 5 to 10 seconds. *If the Master does not switch automatically even after 15 seconds passed, manually choose the TM2 RIGHT on the iPhone Bluetooth screen.
