Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Power Connection
Plug in the power cord to an outlet that is not controlled by a wall switch. -
Step 2: Power On
Move the Power switch on the back of the unit to the ‘I’ position. The status light will flash orange initially, but it should turn steady green once connected properly. If the light flashes red, it indicates a weak wireless signal. In that case, relocate the unit to a better location and press the reset button. -
Step 3: Pendant Range Test
Perform a pendant range test to ensure adequate coverage. -
Step 4: Service Test
Test the service by pressing the pendant button. When the operator answers, introduce yourself and mention that this is a setup test call. -

Step 1
Plug in the power cord to an outlet that is not controlled by a wall switch. -
Step 2
- At the back of the unit, move the Power switch on the “I” position. The status light will flash orange but will turn steady green once connected properly.
- If the status light is flashing red, the wireless signal is not strong enough—move the unit to a better location and press the reset button.

Step 3
Perform a pendant range test by:
* Pressing the MODE button on the back of the base unit—an audio prompt will advise it is in “Range Test Mode”.
* Then press and hold down the pendant button, while walking around the home. You will hear a tone indicating a connection to the base unit. Any lapses in tone indicate an area of poor connectivity.
* Stop pressing the pendant button once range has been determined. Press the RESET button on the back of the base unit and it will announce “System Ready”.
- Step 4
- Test the service by pressing the pendant button. When the operator answers, identify yourself and advise this is your set up test call.
