Introduction to Parts

The 2-in-1 Gutter Mount consists of the following parts:

1. Adapter for Google Nest Cam (outdoor or indoor, battery)
2. Ball joint fixing screw
3. Support fixing screw
4. Metal hook
5. Knob screw
6. Mounting bracket
7. Velcro band
8. Support rod
9. Support rod fixing screw
10. Angle adjustment screw

12. Solar panel (not included)
13. Google Nest Cam (outdoor or indoor, battery) (not included)

How to Install

1. Combine the mounting bracket with the metal hook using the short screws provided. Make sure the screws pass through the two holes on the metal hook.
2. Slide the support rod onto the mounting bracket. Lock it in place by tightening the support rod fixing screw with the hex key provided.
3. Insert the two knob screws through the holes at the back of the hook.
4. Place the plastic nuts on the front end of the knob screws to prevent them from scratching the gutter.

Mounting Your Camera

1. Line up the flanges on the adapter with the grooves on the Nest Cam base. Hold both sides firmly and turn clockwise until they lock into place.
2. Screw the adapter onto the ball joint. Then, twist the wheel on the ball joint screw until it sits flush against the adapter.
3. Snap the Nest Cam to its base at your preferred angle.
4. Use the hex key provided to firmly tighten the ball joint fix screw and lock the ball joint in place.

Mounting Your Solar Panel

Note: The 2-in-1 Gutter Mount supports both glide and screw-hole model solar panels.

1. Glide model: Attach the included glide to the end of the support rod. Slide the solar panel onto the glide until it locks in place.
2. Screw hole model: Fasten the solar panel directly onto the support rod. Twist the wheel on the ball joint screw until it sits flush against the solar panel.
3. Note: Adjust the solar panel to the best position for maximizing sunlight exposure.

Mounting to Your Gutter

Check the compatibility of your gutter style before installing.
Hang the gutter mount onto your gutter and secure it by firmly tightening the knob screws.

Compatible Gutter Types

1. Fascia-style gutter
2. Half-round gutter with outward-facing flange
3. Box-style gutter
4. K-style gutter

Note: The gutter mount is not compatible with round flange gutters or half-round gutters with an inward-facing flange.

Mounting on a Wall

Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the long screws and wall anchors provided (the drill bit size is 1/8).

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the mount jiggling and triggering unwanted camera recordings?

• The hook might not be attached completely, make sure the short screws pass through the two holes on the metal hook.

Why does the camera face down after being mounted?

• Please ensure that you have properly tightened the ball joint fixing screw to lock the camera in place at your preferred angle.
