By using this cast iron pot with capacity of 9 L + 3 L you can prepare many
delicious dishes in a short time, while at the same time retaining their
health-related benefits and flavor. It is excellent for preparing roasted
dishes, goulashes, soups, etc. – everything depends on your ideas.
The pot cover can also be used as a pan, allowing your to fry your favorite
dishes quickly.
Both the pot and the pan can be used on any heat source: on gas, electric,
ceramic, and induction cooktops, in ovens, and on a grill over open fire, e.g.
campfire or barbecue furnace.
It must not be used in microwave ovens.
When using in high temperature, this cookware does not emit any hazardous
compounds in contact with different food.
Thanks to the very high quality iron cast, it heats up and releases heat
uniformly.
The aesthetically pleasing execution of the pot and the pan makes them

with the instructions below and keep them for future reference.
How to use
First use:
- Wash the cookware (both the pot and the pan) carefully in warm water with white vinegar (50/50%) in order to remove the vegetable oil used for securing the surface of the product after manufacturing and then dry it carefully. A paper towel is best for this purpose.
- Coat the product surface carefully with a thick layer of any edible oil (e.g. using a soft cloth or a paper towel).
- Before using the cast iron cauldron for the first time, it must be fired. To do this, grease the cauldron with oil, fill it with water and place it on a lit campfire; close it and cook for about 30 minutes. After this time, leave the cauldron to cool down, in the meantime carefully washing the walls of the cauldron with hot water using a cloth on a stick or wooden spoon (Caution! The cauldron will be very hot!). Another method to burn the cauldron is to pour 1 L of oil into it and burn it for 30 minutes. The oil will change colour during the process. Note: When firing the cauldron using this method, do not add more oil or water to it! The firing process should be monitored at all times and the cauldron should not be left unattended, as the oil may leak out and ignite.
- After the product cools down, wipe excess oil using a paper towel, for example.
- Do the warming up in a well ventilated room, as the hot oil may produce smoke and unpleasant smell.
- The better you carry out this first maintenance activity, the longer the pot will perform its function.
After each use:
- Wash the product right after it cools down, but never soak it.
- In the event of any burnt food adhering to the product, do not use any aggressive surfactants. Instead, you can use sand, for example.
- Dry the pot carefully and apply a thin coating of edible oil onto the internal walls of the product.
- Store the product in a dry place.
Unsuitable maintenance of the pot may lead to it becoming corroded.
Corrosion may be caused by extended soaking, storage of wet cookware in
cabinets, or storing acidic dishes in the cast iron cookware.
If any rust stains appear, remove them with a wire scourer, sand, or caustic
soda – scour the pot surface long enough to remove all traces of rust, without
worrying about damaging the pot. After this stage, repeat the actions
described in the “First use” section.
Remember:
- Do not use any detergents for washing cast iron cookware and do not wash it in a dishwasher.
- Do not use cast iron cookware on glass and other fragile, easily damaged surfaces.
- Cast iron cookware must not be used in microwave ovens.
- When using cast iron cookware, use only wooden or silicone utensils in order not to damage the cast iron surface.
- Do not place an empty boiler over a heat source and do not change the vessel temperatures abruptly.
- Do not put cold cast iron cookware directly on a hot cooktop or in a hot oven. This may cause a “thermal shock” leading to destruction of the product. Always put the cookware on a cool cooktop or in a cool oven and increase the temperature gradually – this also prevents the food from sticking to the cast iron surface.
- When using the cookware, place it on stable surfaces only.
- When warming the cookware up on a gas cooktop, set the flame in such a way that it does not go above the lower edge.
- Cast iron is unfit for dry cooking – it is always necessary to use oil, butter, or other fat. Heating a meal dry may lead to permanent damage to cookware.
- Do not cut the portion prepared directly on the cast iron surface – we recommend moving the dish to an appropriate vessel or board, and only then proceed with cutting.
- Do not use mixers or electric stirrers inside the cast iron cookware – it may lead to damaging the cast iron surface.
- Always put hot cast iron cookware onto wooden boards, silicone mats, or suitable pads.
- Never put hot cast iron cookware into water – it is obligatory to wait until it cools down. A sudden change in temperature may lead to permanent damage to cookware.
Please note! The cast iron dish is for food preparation only. Do not store
food in it!
Please note! After each use, coat the internal walls of cast iron cookware
with a thin layer of any edible oil.
This will extend its lifetime.
