  1. Turn off electricity to furnace. Pull front cover off and slide media carrier out of air cleaner cabinet. Place air cleaner media frame on table with plastic pleat spacers on top. Loosen pleat spacers by gently lifting at each end. Carefully remove all pleat spacers. Lift used air cleaner media out of frame for disposal and clean media frame.

ABOUT THE HIGH EFFICIENCY AIR CLEANER

Your High Efficiency Air Cleaner is an investment in comfort and protection for your family. The Air Cleaner is much more efficient than ordinary furnace air filters, and you may expect benefits if you suffer from allergies caused by pollen, dust and other airborne allergens. The High Efficiency Air Cleaner is not a cure for allergy problems but you may discover that closing the house during the pollen season, and operating the heating and cooling system blower continuously, will provide substantial relief.

The High Efficiency Air Cleaner will also provide marked reduction of household dust and smudging particles so you can also expect a reduction in dusting and cleaning.
The Air Cleaner has no electrical components and therefore requires minimum service. It does not generate ozone and is not affected by fluctuations in air temperature and relative humidity.
The Media Condition Indicator will show when the Air Cleaner media needs changing. Media life of three years is not uncommon. Changing the Media more frequently than suggested by the Condition Indicator is not normally required.
