IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid state speed control device.
  2. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify this safety feature.
  3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been supervised or instructed to use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  4. Do not leave the fan running unattended.
  5. Unplug or disconnect the appliance from the power supply before servicing.

  2. This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as the user servicing instruct- tions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the prod- ucts. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded or returned to an authorized service facility for examination and/ or repair,
  3. Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. If damaged. return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
  4. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not place the cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area where it might be tripped over.
  5. Fan should be used under rated voltage.
  6. Connect power only after the fan is fully assembled.
  7. Never insert fingers, pencils, or any other object through the protective cover when fan is running.
  8. Unplug from outlet when not in use, when moving fan from one location to another, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
  9. Make sure fan is on a stable surface when operating to avoid overturning.
  10. Do not use fan near window. Moisture may create electrical hazard.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Step 1: Take out the tower fan body and parts from the box. Cross butt the bases. (Fig.1)

  2. Step 2: Thread the power cord through the wire hole and join the tower fan body and base together. (Fig.2)

  3. Step 3: After aligning the buckle, turn it clockwise to lock the base. (Fig.3)

OPERATION INSTRUCTION

a. KEY INSTRUCTION

I. Remote Controller (Fig.4)

  1. “ON/OFF Press this key to switch on/switch off the fan.

  2.  “+/-“SPEED When the fan started, press this “+/-“repeated, the fan will work with “1-2-3” or “3-2-1” circulatory.

  3. (M)” MODE Press this key to select mode. The sequence is natural, sleep, Al Mode and normal mode when this key is touched repeatedly or continuously. The natural, sleep and Al mode icon will be shown on the display screen. And normal mode has no corresponding icon.
    Al Mode: After turning on the Al mode, when the room temperature is below 23°C(73.4°F), the tower fan stops working, when the room temperature is 24-26 °C(75.2-78.8°F), it will work at 1 Speed, when the room temperature is 27-29°C (80.6~84.2°F), it will work at 2 Speed, When the room temperature is above 30 °C (86°F), it will work in 3 Speed.

  4. OSCILLATION ” After the fan is turned on, press this key to select oscillation mode.

  5. TIMER Press this timer key repeatedly to set the time for air delivery. Increase/decrease in 1, setting range: 0-12 hours. And the red icon “h” in the display area lights up.

  6. MUTE Press this key, all keys will turn off the sound, and then it will be restored after press it again. The mute function can only be triggered by the remote control, and the corresponding icon will be displayed on the LED screen.

  7. CHILD LOCK Press this key to turn on/off child lock function to avoid children’s accidental touch. The function can only be triggered by the remote control. After activating the child lock, the screen buttons are unavailable, and the screen flashes.

  1. Power up:
    After connecting the power cord, the tower fan is in the standby state.
    The screen shows the current room temperature.
    When there is no operation within 15 seconds, the brightness of the display will decrease by 50%. After another 3 seconds, there is no operation and it will switch to night mode, and the brightness of the display will change to 30% and remain.

  2. The buttons on the panel such as ON/OFF, MODE, SPEED, OSCILLATION, TIMER have the same functions as those of the corresponding keys on the remote controller.

  3. M”+”” SWITCHABLE °C/°F Press simultaneously the “Mode” and the “Speed” button to convert the unit between °C and °F.

Memory Function

Automatically returns to the last except the timer; memory will reset to default when unplugged.

15-hour Auto Off

Fan will automatically shut down when no operation after 15 hours.

BATTERIES

1. Remove the card in the direction of the arrow to power on the remote control. (Fig.6)

Replace with a new battery NOTES:

  1. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws on the battery back cover of the remote control.
  2. After removing the screws, slide the rear cover back.
  3. Put in 1 X CR2025 battery, then install the back cover and screws.

BATTERY WARNING AS BELOW

  1. Please keep the battery out of the reach of children. If a child swallows the battery by mistake, please seek medical attention immediately. 3. Please put it in a dry and cool place.
  2. Do not charge or throw into fire to avoid explosion or leakage.
  3. Please wipe the battery before use.
  4. Please insert the battery in the correct direction.

REMOTE CONTROLLER OPERATION

Point the remote controller to the receptor on front of the fan and press the desired button. The remote controller will work at distances of up to five meters 16ft and the angle of 30 degree included between right and left from the receptor.

Note: The batteries must be removed from the remote controller before it is scrapped and properly disposed.

This product contains a lithium button/coin cell battery. If a new or used lithium button/coin cell battery is swallowed or enters the body, it can cause severe internal burms and can lead to death in as little as 2 hours. Always completely secure the battery compartment. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product, remove the batteries, and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swal- lowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

  • a) The cells shall be disposed of properly, including keeping them away from children; and b) Even used cells may cause injury.

OVERHEAT PROTECTION OF THE MOTOR

The motor equips with a thermal-fuse which will turn the fan off to protect the fan from burning out because of overheat, which keeps plastic parts of the fan from deformation.

USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.

  2. Open fuse cover. Slide open fuse access cover on top of attachment plug towards blades (Fig.8).

  3. Remove fuse carefully. Push the fuse from the other side to remove fuse.

  4. Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse (provided with product.)

  5. Close fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse access cover on top of attachment plug (Fig.9).

  6. Risk of fire. Do not replace attachment plug. Contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. If the plug is damaged, please contact our after-sales service team.

NOTE:

  1. When you replace the fuse, please don’t operate suddenly or overexert, or else the product will be damaged or cause accident.
  2. Confirm positioning is correct.
  3. Do not use the fan, if the plug is damaged. Turn to the support team support@grelife.net for help.

CLEANING

  1. Be sure to unplug the power cord from the outlet before cleaning.
  2. Plastic parts should be cleaned thoroughly with clean water, mild soap and damp cloth or sponge.
  3. Be sure not to get water or other liquid enter the inside of the motor.
  4. Dry all parts completely before plugging into socket.

Please read all instructions before attempting to use this product. Grelife warrants as limited herein to the original purchaser of retail that each new Fan, shall be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. This one (1) year warranty is limited to the Motor and Electric Element.

In the event of malfunctions or failure of your Fan, simply deliver or send the Fan, postage prepaid along with PROOF OF PURCHASE, within the warranty period of one (1) year, to Grelife reserves the right to inspect the claimed defective part or parts to determine if the defect or malfunction complaint is covered by this warranty. Grelife shall within sixty (60) days after receipt of the product, at its option, repair and/or replace the defective part or parts free of charge. This warranty shall only cover defect arising from normal usage, Grelife takes no responsibility whatsoever if the Fan should fail during the warranty period by reason of:

  • Misuse, negligence, physical damage or accidents.
  • Lack of maintenance (see instructions for proper maintenance).
  • Repair by any unauthorized party during the warranty period.
  • Damage caused by connection to an improper input voltage (see specification label on your Fan).

Grelife makes no further warranties or representations, express or implied except those contained herein. No representative or dealer is authorized to assume any other liability regarding the Fan. The duration of the implied warranty granted under State law, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for particular purpose are limited in duration should the duration of the express warranty grant it hereunder. Grelife shall in no event be liable for direct, indirect, special or consequential damages.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and/or the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
