FAQ
Q: Why is the read/write speed slow in actual use?
A: Read and write speeds are slower suggest that you check the USB host port and, it will only have USB3.0/2.0 speeds if your USB port is 3.0/2.0 version.
Q: Why does Windows XP system not recognize hard drives with capacity over
2TB?
A: Due to the system limitations of Windows XP, the capacity of the hard disk that can be recognized on the system cannot exceed 2TB, and can only be supported by computers upgraded to Vista (64bit) or above. It is recommended to convert the disk to a GPT disk partition, otherwise the operating system will not support disk partitions that exceed 2TB.
Q: How can I protect my hard drive and data and achieve a secure exit?
A: When you want to remove the removable hard drive without closing the operating system, in order to protect your hard drive and data from damage, it is recommended that users will safely eject the USB device via the Safe Remove USB Peripheral icon in the bottom right corner of the system or click the disk icon (under Mac OS system) and select to eject the disk device and then power off to remove the device.
Note
- When using this product and installing the M.2 SSD as an option, please be careful to prevent static electricity (it is recommended toplace your hands on metal objects to discharge).
- This product uses the M Key interface, which is an NVMe protocol channel. When installing an M.2 SSD, please check the interface and protocol channel of the drive.
- Although the USB side of the product supports hot-swapping, it must be done with power off when installing an M.2 SSD.
- Products can reach 20Gbps in specific devices, with Thunderbolt
- Thunderbolt 4 interface in Apple and Huawei laptops, it can not reach 20Gbps.
- Try to move gently when inserting the PCBA board to avoid scratching the components on the motherboard.
- When disassembling and assembling the hard drive case, please keep all the accessories properly to prevent loss.
- When using the product, if you use the dual-disk cloning function or read two disks at the same time (when only connecting the product to a single disk, you may not connect the standard power adapter), it is recommended to connect the product’s power adapter to avoid the lack of power supply to prevent the normal reading of disks.
