How to Replace Batteries in a Qolsys Motion Sensor Model QS-1230840

We advise you to check before purchasing batteries.
Preparation
IMPORTANT customers who use myadt.ca Before removing the sensor, place the panel on test mode through myadt.ca. After logging in:
- Tap [Home]
- Tap [Place on Test]
- Enter your expiration date and time
- Enter your password
- Tap [Yes-Proceed]
Parts Required
- Two AAA batteries
- A small flathead screwdriver
Instructions
- With the screwdriver, press down on the tab at the bottom of the device while pulling the cover upwards
- The alarm panel may begin to beep, you may choose to silence the alarm by entering your code
- Remove the batteries with the use of the flathead screwdriver
- Replace the batteries
- To reposition the sensor back onto the backplate, position the sensor snugly on the top first and snap down to secure, you will hear a click
- Arm and disarm the alarm to clear panel alert
If the low battery alert does not clear or if the panel shows sensor tamper, walk through the steps above once more. It could be either the batteries or sensor cover are not on properly
