This page shows battery replacement for a Glass Break Detector Nortek/2GIG Model GB1-345
Description

Because there are many different versions of glass break sensors, it is important to remove the sensor cover first to determine what kind of batteries are required for your equipment. We advise you to check before purchasing batteries.

Preparation

IMPORTANT customers who use myadt.ca*** Before removing the sensor, place the panel on test mode through myadt.ca. After logging in:

  1. Tap [Home]
  2. Tap [Place on Test]
  3. Enter your expiration date and time
  4. Enter your password
  5. Tap [Yes-Proceed]

Parts Required

  • Two CR123A 3volt lithium batteries

Instructions

  1. Twist the sensor until the arrows line up on the outside casing and pull the cover off
  2. The alarm panel may begin to beep; you may choose to silence the alarm by entering your code
  3. Replace the batteries
  4. Place the cover back onto the back plate and twist counterclockwise to re-secure, you will hear a click
  5. Arm and disarm the alarm to clear panel alert

If the low battery alert does not clear or if the panel shows sensor tamper, walk through the steps above once more. It could be either the batteries or sensor cover are not on properly
