1.0 Packing Open and Installation
1.1 What’s in the Box
After unpacking the shipping carton, you should find these items:

1.2 Rugged Tablet Overview
1.2.1 Front Components

1.3 Battery, SIM card, TF installation
1.3.1 Install SIM&TF card

Refer to section 1.2.3, open the protective cover on the left side of the tablet.

With the back of the tablet as a reference, insert the SIM card in the direction indicated by the SIM interface markings or the image below.

To remove the SIM card or SD card, simply press the card and it will automatically pop out
Tips:
Inserting the SIM card in the wrong direction may cause damage to the SIM card
or prevent it from popping out.
1.3.2 Uninstall Battery

To remove the battery, follow these steps:

When reinstalling the battery, make sure to align it with the slot as shown in the diagram.
2.0 Basic Operation
2.1 Start Using the Tablet.
This section explains in detail how to use the IRT09J rugged tablet and what you need to pay attention to in order to use it.
2.1.1 Connecting to AC Power
Note Use the included AC adapter to charge IRT09J. Don’t use other AC
adapters, it might cause damage the tablet.
Connect the tablet to the AC adapter before using it for the first time.
2.1.2 Turning On and Off the Tablet
1. Turning On Press the power button ( ).
The Windows operating system should start.
2.Turning Off
When you finish a working session, you can stop the system by turning off the
power or leaving it in Sleep or Hibernation mode:

Press the power button.
Click → [ Power]→[Sleep].
Tips:
“Sleep” is the default result of the action. You can change what the action
does through Windows settings.
Operation:
- Open the control panel
- Power → Hibernate Management
- Adjust to no hibernation/change hibernation time
2.2 Using the LAN
The built-in 10/100/1000M LAN (local area network) module allows your tablet to connect to the network. Plug one end of the network cable into the RJ45 interface of the tablet and the other end into the network hub.
2.3 Using the Wi-Fi
The Wi-Fi module supports WI-FI 6.
Turning On / Off the Wi-Fi
To turn on the Wi-Fi:
Click the icon in the lower right corner to open the network settings. Click
to open the wireless network.
To turn off the Wi-Fi:
Tap the WiFi icon again to turn off WiFi.
Tips:
If you want to quickly turn off all radio frequencies at once, just turn on
the Airplane mode.
Click the network connection icon in the lower right corner to open network
settings and click Airplane mode.
Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network
- Please make sure that the Wi-Fi function is enabled (as described above).
- Click the network icon in the lower right of the taskbar.
- In the list of available Wi-Fi, click a network, and then click Connect.
- Some networks require a network security key or passphrase. To connect to one of those networks, ask your network administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for the security key or passphrase.
2.4 Using the Bluetooth
Bluetooth technology allows short-range wireless communications between
devices without requiring a cable connection.
Data can be transmitted through walls, pockets, and briefcases as long as two
devices are within range.
Turning On / Off the Bluetooth
To turn on the Bluetooth: Click [Start] — Click [Settings] — Select [Bluetooth & Devices], then turn on “Bluetooth”.
To turn off the Bluetooth:
You can turn off the Bluetooth the same way you turn it on.
Connecting to another Bluetooth Device
- Please make sure that the Bluetooth function is enabled (as described above).
- Please make sure that the target Bluetooth device is turned on, discoverable, and within close range.
- Click [Start] — Click [Settings] — Select [Bluetooth & Devices], then turn on “Bluetooth” — Select [Add a device].
- Select the device you want to connect from the search results.
- Enter the passcode when connecting to Bluetooth to complete the connection.
In Quick Settings: To find the quick settings for Bluetooth, select the Network, Sound, or Battery icon next to the time and date on the right side of the taskbar. Select Bluetooth to turn it on. If you turn it on without any Bluetooth devices connected, it may show up as “Not Connected”.
2.5 Fingerprint
Set up fingerprint
1)Open Settings ( ) –>Accounts –> Sign-in options.
- Before entering fingerprints, you need to input the password to verify your identity.
3)Place the finger that needs to be registered on the fingerprint sensor, follow the on-screen prompts to complete the enrollment.
2.6 Using the Mobile Network
When you insert the SIM card, click the WiFi icon at the bottom right corner, and you will see the SIM card signal displayed.
Tips:
Inserting the SIM card in the wrong direction may cause damage to the SIM card
or prevent it from popping out.
2.7 Use Virtual Keyboard
In the Win11 system, the virtual keyboard is turned off by default. You need
to manually enable it the first time you use it.
Here is a tutorial on how to enable the virtual keyboard:

[Touch keyboard] → Enble the [Show the touch keyboard when thers’s no keyboard attached] option.
2.8 Display Settings
Click [Settings] →[System ] →[Display] This is where you can adjust the screen brightness, resolution, and screen rotation.
3.0 FAQ
3.1 Battery Problems
Why is the device battery not charging? (The red indicator does not light up).
- Please make sure that the AC adapter is properly connected.
- Please make sure that the battery is not too hot or cold. Allow time for the battery pack to return to room temperature.
- If the battery doesn’t charge after it has been stored in very low temperatures, try disconnecting and reconnecting the AC adapter to solve the problem.
- Please make sure that the battery pack is installed correctly. (Please refer to section 1.3 for battery installation instructions.)
- Please make sure that the battery terminals are clean.
Why does its operating time become shorter after the battery is fully charged?
- If you often partially recharge and discharge the battery, it might not be charged to its full potential. Initialize the battery to solve the problem. (Fully charge in the shutdown state, discharge to 0%, and then fully charge the shutdown, cycle 2-3 times).
- If this does not solve your problem, please contact technical support.
Why does the estimated operating time for battery power metering not match the actual usage time?
- The actual operating time can be different from the estimated time, depending on how you are using the Tablet. If the actual operating time is much less than the estimated time, initialize the battery. (Fully charge in the shutdown state, discharge to 0%, and then fully charge the shutdown, cycle 2-3 times).
3.2 Bluetooth Problems
How to fix not being able to connect to other devices that have Bluetooth wireless technology?
- Please make sure that both devices have activated Bluetooth features.
- Please make sure that the distance between the two devices is within the limit and that there are no walls or other obstructions between the devices.
- Please make sure that the other device is not in “Hidden” mode.
- Please make sure that both devices are compatible.
- If this does not solve your problem, please contact technical support.
3.3 WIFI Problems
Why can’t I use the wireless network function?
- Please make sure that the WIFI feature is turned on.
- Please check if you have entered your WIFI password correctly.
Why is the network transmission quality poor?
- Your tablet may be in an out-of-range situation. Move your Tablet closer to the Access Point or another WIFI device it is associated with.
- Check if there is high interference around the environment and solve the problem as described next.
Why is there radio interference?
- Move your tablet away from the device causing radio interference such as microwave oven and large metal objects.
- Plug your tablet into an outlet on a different branch circuit from that used by the affecting device.
- Consult your dealer or an experienced radio technician for help.
Why can’t I connect to another wireless network device?
- Please make sure that the WIFI feature is turned on.
- Please make sure that the SSID setting is the same for every WIFI device in the network.
- Your tablet is not recognizing changes. Restart the tablet.
- Please make sure that the IP address or subnet mask setting is correct.
Why can’t I access the network?
- Please make sure that the network configuration is appropriate.
- Please make sure that the SSID setting is the same for every WIFI device in the network.

3.4 Display Problems
Why does the device screen not display?
- The screen may automatically turn off as a result of power management. Please press any key to see if the screen comes back.
- The brightness level might be too low. Please increase brightness.
- The screen output may be switched to an external device. Please switch the display via Windows [Control Panel].
Why is the image on the device screen dark?
- Adjust the brightness and/or contrast.
- If this does not solve your problem, please contact technical support.
3.5 Hardware Device Problems
How to fix a tablet not recognizing newly installed hardware.
- If the device requires a driver, please install the corresponding driver.
- If the device does not need a driver, please plug and unplug the device again and add it to the device manager.
- Check the cables or power cables for correct connections.
- For an external device with its power switch, ensure the power is turned on.
- If this does not solve your problem, please contact technical support.
3.6 Power Management Problems
How to fix tablet not sleeping or hibernating automatically or immediately.
- Please make sure you have enabled the timeout setting for the standby or hibernate function.
- If the Tablet is operating, it normally waits for the operation to finish.
- If this does not solve your problem, please contact technical support.
Why can’t the tablet resume from standby or hibernate mode?
- Please long press the on button to restart the machine.
- The battery may be exhausted, please connect the power adapter and try to turn on the machine again.
- If this does not solve your problem, please contact technical support.
3.7 Software Problems
How to fix application software not functioning properly.
- Please make sure that the software is correctly installed.
- If an error message appears on the screen, consult the software program’s documentation for further information.
- If you are sure the operation has stopped, reset the tablet.
3.8 Sound Problems
How to fix tablet no sound issue.
- Please make sure that the volume control is not set too low.
- Please make sure that the tablet is not in Mute mode.
- Please make sure that the tablet is not in Sleep mode.
- If using an external speaker, make sure that the speaker is properly connected.
Why does the tablet appear distorted sound?
- Please make sure that the volume control is not set too high or too low. In most cases, a high setting can cause the audio electronics to distort the sound.
3 .9 Startup Problems
Why does the system seem to be unresponsive when I turn on the computer?
- Please check the battery installation.
- Please connect an external power supply for 30 minutes of power and try powering on again.
- If this does not solve your problem, please contact technical support.
3.10 Tablet Unresponsive Issue
When the tablet crashes due to a problem, you may need to restart the tablet.
Please reboot in one of the following ways:
- Please use the external keyboard to press Ctrl + Alt + Del to bring up the Ctrl-Alt-Del screen. This screen provides several options including “Restart
- If the above method does not work, press and hold the power button for more than 5 seconds to force the Tablet to shut down. Then turn it on again.
