SIXPIR Replace Batteries in a Honeywell Motion Sensor

This page shows battery replacement for a Honeywell Motion Sensor Model SIXPIR
Because there are many different
versions of motion sensors, it is important to remove the sensor cover first
to determine what kind of batteries are required for your equipment. We advise
you to check before purchasing batteries.
Preparation
IMPORTANT customers who use myadt.ca Before removing the sensor, place the panel on test mode through myadt.ca. After logging in:
- Tap [Home]
- Tap [Place on Test]
- Enter your expiration date and time
- Enter your password
- Tap [Yes-Proceed]
Parts Required
- One CR123A 3volt lithium battery
- A small flathead screwdriver
Instructions
- Press the release button on top of the device while sliding the front cover down
- The alarm panel may begin to beep; you may choose to silence the alarm by entering your code
- Use the flathead screwdriver to remove old battery from device
- Replace the battery
- Place the top part of the sensor on back plate first, then press down to click the sensor into place
- Arm and disarm the alarm to clear panel alert
If the low battery alert does not clear or if the panel shows sensor tamper, walk through the steps above once more. It could be either the batteries or sensor cover are not on properly
