Preparation

IMPORTANT: If you are a customer who uses myadt.ca, follow these steps before removing the sensor:

  1. Log into myadt.ca
  2. Tap on [Home]
  3. Tap on [Place on Test]
  4. Enter your expiration date and time
  5. Enter your password
  6. Tap on [Yes-Proceed]

Battery Replacement Instructions

  1. Push the button on the bottom of the sensor to release and remove the cover.
  2. If the alarm panel starts beeping, you can silence it by entering your code.
  3. Remove the old batteries from the sensor.
  4. Insert the new CR2032 batteries into the sensor, ensuring they are properly aligned.
  5. Reposition the sensor cover by placing the top part of the sensor on first and then pressing down to secure the bottom into place. You should hear a click indicating it is properly secured.
  6. Arm and disarm the alarm system to clear any panel alerts.

Note: If the low battery alert does not clear or if the panel sensor shows tamper, repeat the above steps. Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly and that the sensor cover is securely in place.
