IMPORTANT : Customers who use myadt.ca.
Before removing the sensor, follow these steps on myadt.ca
to place the panel on test mode:
- Tap [Home]
- Tap [Place on Test]
- Enter your expiration date and time
- Enter your password
- Tap [Yes-Proceed]
Parts Required
- One CR123A 3 Volt Lithium Battery
- Small flathead screwdriver
Battery Replacement Instructions
- Grab the face of the smoke detector and twist it to the right to release.
- Use the small flathead screwdriver to remove the old batteries.
- Insert the new batteries into the sensor.
- Reposition the sensor back onto the base plate by aligning the marks on the sensor to the marks on the base plate.
- Twist the sensor to the left until you hear a click, indicating that the sensor is securely in place.
- Arm and disarm the alarm to clear the panel alert.
If the low battery alert does not clear or if the panel shows a sensor tamper message, please repeat the steps above. It could be either due to the batteries or the sensor cover not being properly installed.

myadt.ca. After logging in:
- Tap [Home]
- Tap [Place on Test]
- Enter your expiration date and time
- Enter your password
- Tap [Yes-Proceed]
