Before You Begin

These are supplemental installation instructions for the bracket kit 89770 only. You will need to read and fully understand the specific Zeon Control Pack Relocation kit instructions that came with your relocation kit to complete the installation of your control pack.

Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Attaching the Relocation Mounting Bracket

  1. Attach the enclosed relocation mounting bracket to the control pack using the supplied M6 hex head bolts and lock washers.
  2. Torque the bolts to 10 N.m (7.5 lb.ft.).
  3. Refer to Figure 1 for visual reference.

Step 2: Finding a Mounting Location

Find an appropriate mounting location to mount the control pack. Ensure that the cables and ground wire can be routed to the winch and that the control pack is easily accessible and on a solid mounting surface.

Step 3: Match Drilling the Holes

  1. Match drill the 5/16 holes in the bracket to the chosen mounting surface for your control pack.
  2. Be sure to check the area before drilling to avoid hitting any electrical cables or gas lines.

Step 4: Mounting the Bracket

  1. Mount the bracket using the supplied 5/16 bolts, two (2) flat washers, and nylock nuts as shown in Figure 2.
  2. Torque the bolts to 17 lb.ft (23 N.m).

Step 5: Completion

Installation of the bracket is now complete. Please refer to your specific relocation kit instructions for complete relocation instructions.

  • Always use extreme caution when drilling on any vehicle. Make sure that all fuel lines, brake lines, electrical wires, and other objects are not punctured or damaged when / if drilling on the vehicle. Thoroughly inspect the area to be drilled (on both sides of the material) prior to drilling, and relocate any objects that may be damaged. Failure to inspect the area to be drilled may result in vehicle damage, electrical shock, fire, or personal injury.
  • Always verify area is clear of fuel lines, fuel tank, brake lines, electrical wires, etc., when drilling.
  • Never mount a contactor with electrical terminals touching metal objects.
  • Always wear safety glasses when installing this kit. A drilling operation will cause flying metal chips. Flying chips can cause eye injury.
  • Never lean over the battery while making connections.
  • Always avoid pinch and wear/abrasion points when installing all electrical cables.
    • Never route electrical cables:
    • Across any sharp edges.
    • Through or near moving parts.
    • Near parts that become hot.
  • Always tighten all nuts and bolts securely, per the installation and operation.
  • Always perform regular inspections and maintenance on the winch, winch mount and related hardware.
  • Never ever operate this WARN product with damaged or missing parts.

INS TALLATION INS TRUCTIONS

  1. Attach the enclosed relocation mounting bracket to the control pack using the supplied M6 hex head bolts and lock washers. Torque to 10 N.m (7.5 lb.ft.). See Figure 1.WARN-89770-Control-Pack-Relocation-Bracket-Mounting-Kit-fig-1

  2.  Find an appropriate mounting location to mount the control pack. Make sure to check that the cables and ground wire can be routed to the winch and that the control pack is easily accessible and on a solid mounting surface.

  3.  Match drill the 5/16” holes in the bracket to the mounting surface you choose to mount your control pack to. Be sure to check the area before you drill to avoid hitting any electrical cables or gas lines.
