Frequently Asked Questions
What is the range of the Bluetooth connection?
10-20 feet.
Does anyone know if this mic can work well with zoom? Planing on sharing my laptop music and use this mic to share my voice.
Probably can. It’s a microphone like any other else, but if you intend to hear your own voice, you might experience some delay. It’s a cool piece, and also gives you a chance of lecturing, while moving. Take care, stay safe, God Bless.
What type of mic jack is this? Can I connect a lapel mic I already have with a standar 2.5 mm jack?
This uses a 3 pin mini-XLR jack. You may be able to find an adapter that will allow it to work, but the standard TRS jack you have will not work without an adapter.
Hi does it work only with samson pa? or is it universal for any sounds board
I use this by connecting to my computer, then running that sound out to my speakers or board – works great running from the PC sound
I would like to use this on my Mac. Does it require special software to get it to work?
I have a Mac, it works great. If you have a macbook air you’ll just need a usb adapter.
The audio occasionally drops or crackles. Is there a way to fix this?
Ir usually stops with a fresh set of batteries.
Can I listen to music through the headphones and sing in the mic both run through the computer at the same time?
I believe it’s possible. Once it is connect to the PC, go to Control Panel and look for Hardware and Sounds. Click on Sound, Recording Tab, double click on microphone. Select Listen Tab, and uncheck the Listen the device box. If you intend to listen your voice together to the music you are listen in the headphones, it is possible there might be a delay, depending on the computer response.
How can i adjust the headset to fit my head?
There’s a slide arc that allows you to adjust where mic will be placed, fitting to the head, just over the ears.
What type of Bluetooth speaker can i use?
The mic talks to the USB dongle that comes with it. That dongle plugs into a PC. From there, you are on your own – you use whatever outbound audio capability the PC has. I could be wrong, but I don’t think that this unit is itself Bluetooth capable.
Does the headset go in your ears like headphones and then theres the microphone to speak into?
No, there are no headphones. Take care, God Bless. MAC.
How would I connect this to a standard speaker?
The USB receiver with 1/8″ (3. 5mm) headphone/ line output allows for connection to any mixer or powered speaker that has an analog line input.
I see people here saying this mic works with the iphone, but how if the iphone doesn’t have a usb port? is there an adapter necessary?
Yes, you will need lightning to usb adapter.
What is the current draw necessary to power the receiver?
The maximum that the USB interface can provide is 5v .5amp. Not sure if that is what you are looking for.
Can anyone recommend a case that would fit this mic?
Its real small, you can just get something the size of fanny pack
In the middle picture under “more ways to connect”, i see that they are using a 1/4″ to 1/8″ line in, but what is the usb end plugged into?
I plug the usb into my Mac. Once paired, my Mac automatically recognizes the mic when I plug it on.
