Product Usage Instructions

Setting up the Servo-c

  1. Plug in the power cord.
  2. Switch ON the ventilator by pulling the ON/OFF switch downwards.
  3. Connect the oxygen and air hoses.
  4. Lock the wheels on the cart.
  5. Start the PRE-USE CHECK by following the on-screen instructions. Note that you will need the test tube during this check. The patient circuit test is included but can also be selected separately.
  6. Choose the PATIENT CATEGORY: adult or pediatric.
  7. Choose the VENTILATION TYPE: invasive or non-invasive (optional).
  8. Calculate Predicted Body Weight (PBW) automatically by tapping PBW and entering patient gender and height. For pediatric patients, enter the patient’s weight. Tidal Volume in ml/kg will now be monitored.
  9. Tap VENTILATION MODES. If you tap and hold on a mode, you will get more information.
  10. Choose a mode and adjust the settings accordingly.
  11. Some settings have dynamic images.
  12. The safety scale can be expanded by tapping on it.
  13. Change the alarm limits in the alarm window.
  14. Tap START VENTILATION to begin.

  • Q: What are the alarm priority levels?
    A: The alarms can be in one of three colors depending on priority: High priority, Medium priority, or Low priority.

    A: Tap on the active alarm and you can adjust alarm limits directly.

    A: Tap Standby and then tap and hold to stop ventilation.

Setting up the Servo-c

    NOTE: When switching on the Servo-c, you need to first pull the ON/OFF switch downwards.

  3. Connect the oxygen and air hoses.

  4. Lock the wheels on the cart.

  6. Choose PATIENT CATEGORY: adult or pediatric.
