Must read before use

  1. If the device crashes, freezes, etc. Please reset the device or restore factory settings.
    Note: Please backup all your files before factory settings, otherwise your files will not be retrieved.

  2. If the SD card can not be recognized, please try to format the card. If it doesn’t help, please contact us (see cover) for further help. 3 . Press and hold the “Power button” and “Volume -” button at the same time to take a screenshot.

  3. Home button: Press once to return to the previous menu, twice to the home menu, long press to the background program.

  4. FAT32 format MicroSD card ONLY!

  5. Use 5V 1A charger to charge it!

  6. Universal password: 1235789 (when you forget your password, enter this password to unlock the player).

Settings

WIFI

Turn on WLAN (you can also swipe down at the status bar to open the notification panel and set the WIFI), tap
on the WLAN you’re going to connect. If you select an encrypted network, a password should be input.

Bluetooth

Turn on Bluetooth, the device will automatically searching the available devices. Select the Bluetooth device and finish pairing.

Apps & Notifications

List recently opened apps here. Tap on each app to uninstall or force stop. Notifications, App permissions are available.

Battery

Charge and usage information of Battery: Standby intelligent power saving, Battery saver, Battery manager, and Battery percent.

Display

  • Brightness level: to adjust the brightness of screen.
  • Night light: Setting a schedule for night light status and adjust intensity of brightness.
  • Simulate color space: Disabled, Monochromacy.
  • Wall paper: Select from Gallery, Live Wallpapers, Wall papers.
  • Sleep: if there is inactivity for 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, the screen be turned off.
  • Auto-rotate screen: On/Off.
  • Font size: Adjust the font size from small, Default, Large, and Largest.
  • Display size: Adjust the display size from small, Default, and Large.

Sound

  • Set Media volume, Notification volume, Alarm volume, Default alarm sound Here. Screen locking sound, Charging sound, Touch sounds, and Sound enhancement are available.

Storage

Display the available space and total space of internal storage and SD card, as well as the occupancy of each app.

Security

Screen lock: Set a screen lock by Swipe, Pattern, PIN, Password (Warning: When you set a password or PIN, be sure to write down it before you click Confirm. Or, you will not be able to access the device).
Passwords: Make passwords visible or not.
Encryption & Credential: Storage type, Trusted credentials, User credentials, Install from SD card.

Auto Shutdown

Set it never or auto shutdown in 5/10/15/20/30minutes.

Schedule power on &off

Set a specific time to power on/off.

  • Language & input: Setting languages and input method.
  • Keyboard & input methods: Select G board to set your preferred language to input.
  • Date & Time: Setting date & time of device.
  • Reset options: Erase all data and reset to factory settings.
  • About device: Detail information of device.

Warning

  • Do not leave the device in an environment where the temperature is too low or too high (below-10°C or above 50°C) for a long time. Extreme temperature environments will cause the device to deform and shorten the service life of the device;
  • Do not use the equipment under thunder storm weather;
  • Do not place the device in the water for a long time;
  • Do not expose the equipment to the sun for a long time.

Trouble Shooting

  1. The device does not respond to charging or connecting to the PC
    Usually, use a USB cable to connect the player to the computer, the top of the player will appear with an icon P on the top of the screen.
    And an MTP device named MECHEN H1-Pro will appear in the drive list of your computer.
    Troubleshooting:

    • Check whether it is caused by poor contact.
    • Check whether the USB port is damaged.
    • Check if the USB cable is damaged.
    • You can also try to use the USB cable to connect to other devices.
      If there is also no response, it means also that the USB cable has been damaged. Please contact after-sales support for a replacement or refund.
  2. The SD card is not working properly.
    Please try:

    • Re-insert it into the MECHEN H1-Pro player.
    • Check the SD card for physical damage.
    • Check if the SD card is FAT32 or EXFAT. (only FAT32 format is perfectly supported)
    • Restart the MECHEN H1-Pro or factory reset.
    • Make sure that the SD card’s metal teeth are clean.
    • Make sure that the SD card has sufficient free storage for your needs.
      If you still run into any issues, e-mail us with a video or photo showing them.
  3. The operating speed become slowly / stuck / restart.
    Sometimes it may caused by different factors, for e.g.,

    • Too many application installed, in this case, please remove some of the applications and leave a space for system to run smoothly.

    • Software incompatibility, if you install other third-party unknown software into this player, in
      this case, please remove the software.

    • WiFi signal is poor will effect the speed while using live streaming applications.
