COLLINGWOOD LIGHTING ML01 Decorative LED Mini Light Instructions
Instruction
Suitable waterproof connectors must be used to maintain the IP rating of the
LED product. Failure to use a suitable connector will invalidate the warranty.
For installations in a dry environment, i.e. no moisture or condensation, any
connectors suitable for SELV (Separated Extra Low Voltage) can be used.
- Connect red wire of first LED unit to + (plus) driver output terminal.
- Connect black wire of last LED unit to – (negative) driver output terminal.
- Connect black to red as shown, i.e. current flows ‘in’ through each red wire and ‘out’ through each black wire.
- The diagram above is an example with three LED units wired in series using Colling wood UY2 connectors.
WARNING: Do not install LED units into wood which has been treated with creosote, e.g. old railway sleepers. Creosote fumes can permeate the silicone seals and damage the LEDs.
