Product Usage Instructions
Option A: Installing Your Gate Between Two Walls
- Loosen the hinge knob in the clockwise direction to allow the gate to unfold.
- Use a Phillips/crosshead screwdriver (C) to fix the wall mounting bracket (B) to the wall. Repeat for all four brackets.
- Arrange the panels to your desired configuration, then tighten all of the hinge knobs. NOTE: This gate is designed to fit openings 51.5 inches (130.81 cm) to 194 inches (492.76).
Option B: Installing Your Gate as a Play Yard
- Completely remove hinge knob.
- Loosen all other hinge knobs.
- Twist the hinge knobs in a clockwise direction to loosen.
- To remove the wall mount from Panel 1, loosen the hinge knob in the clockwise direction to disengage the locking teeth. Slide the hinge knob and the toothed hinge cover cap downward. Pull the tube along with the hinge knob, toothed hinge cover cap, and wall mounts away from the gate to release all the parts. Remove the male hinge cover cap from the bottom.
- To remove the wall mount from Panel 2, loosen the hinge knob in the clockwise direction to disengage the locking teeth. Slide the hinge knob and the toothed hinge cap downward. Pull the tube along with the hinge knob, toothed hinge cap, and wall mounts away from the gate to release all the parts. Remove the female hinge cover cap from the bottom.
- Position the play yard into your desired configuration (e.g. octagon, square), then join the free ends of the play yard together at the plastic joints.
- Place the tube with the hinge knob on it into the hole in the bottom of the extension gate. Stand tube vertically and connect hinge knob to top.
- Slide the tube into place and screw the hinge knob in the counterclockwise direction to tighten.
Gate Operation
- To open the gate, start by rotating the base lock in the upward direction on both sides of the door.
- Press the release button down on the handle. Slide the handle back towards the hinge.
- To close the gate, repeat the same operation.
Assembly Completion
Assembly is now complete. NOTE: When adding or removing additional panel
units to the configuration, panels must be added or subtracted in sets of two
for the freestanding enclosure to function properly.

BEFORE USING PRODUCT
Read and follow all instructions carefully to ensure that your gate and
extensions are properly installed. Improper installation could result in the
gate becoming unstable or dislodged from the doorway. Always make sure the
extension is securely attached to the gate before using. The safety of your
child is your responsibility. Please keep these instructions for your
reference.
IMPORTANT
- The four mounting brackets must be used in securing the gate to the wall. These brackets prevent the gate from dislodging from its opening and becoming unstable.
- If hardware mounting to a surface other than drywall or wood, please consult with a professional about installation.
- The maximum width of this gate is 194 inches.

If, during the first 90 days after consumer purchase of the item, under reasonable and non-commercial use and conditions of maintenance, it fails while owned by the original purchaser because of the quality of materials or workman-ship of finish and assembly, Regalo International, LLC, will replace or repair it at Regalo’s option. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Periodically check the gate for signs of damage, wear, or missing components.
Do not use if any part is missing, worn or damaged. Check the gate regularly
to ensure all the hardware and mountings are tightened. Do not use abrasive
cleaners or bleach. Clean by sponging with warm water and a mild detergent.

To Fold Your Play Yard
- STEP 1 Loosen all of the locking knobs so the play yard can move freely and becomes flexible at the joints.
- STEP 2 Remove one of the locking knobs from the play yard and remove one vertical tube.
- STEP 3 You will now be able to pull the two plastic joints and the top and bottom of the play yard apart.
- STEP 4 Fold and put away.
WARNING
- Install according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- To prevent serious injury or death, securely install gate or enclosure and use according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- Children have died or been seriously injured when gates are not securely installed. Always install and use as directed using all required parts.
- Never stack gates on top of each other to form a taller barrier.
- This could result in serious injury or death.
- Stop using when a child can climb over or dislodge the gate.
- Use only with the locking mechanism securely engaged.
- To prevent falls, never use at top of stairs.
- Never use to keep child away from pool.
- Intended for use with children from 6 months through 24 months.
- Always ensure the gate is resting against the floor before beginning installation.
- This product will not necessarily prevent all accidents.
- Never leave child unattended.
