Thank you for purchasing the Donner Microphone Preamp Roar Booster RB-1!
The RB-1 s built to provide a 26dB stable, clean, clear extra gain for your passive microphone by building in a sophisti- cated class-A design and premium-selected high-grade JFETS. You only need to connect the preamp between your dynamic microphone or ribbon microphone and the audio interface or console, then turn on the 48V phantom power supply to let RB-1 do its job.

USING THE RB-1

  1. Placing the RB-1 on the ground/deskimicrophone boom (as shown A1 and A2);
  2. Connect the preamp input(XLR male type) to the microphone, the preamp output(XLR female type) to the console/audio interface (as shown BY;
  3. Tum on the 48V phantom power on the console/audio interface in order to let RB-1 doits job (as shown C);
  4. Start using the RB-1 (as shown D);
  5. Finish using by tuming off the 48v phantom power (as shown E);
  6. Disconnect the XLR cable (as shown F);
  7. After using, the RB-1 should be placed inits protective box (as shown G);
