Warnings

• Please read this User Manual carefully
• Do not use the product in water because it is not dust or water proof.
• Do not let the product fall to the ground, be hit or suffer violent impact.
• Do not exert pressure on its OLEO screen because over pressure will cause permanent damage to the screen
• Do not use the product in the completely closed environment. or it may lead to rise of internal temperature, which causes product failure, ignition or other accident.
• Do not look straight at the LED bead in use from close range, or it may cause visual impairment
• Do not place the product nearby any combustible or volatile solution, or it may cause a fire disaster or smog.
• Be sure to power the product off when it is not in use.
• When the battery is not in use for a long time, please charge and discharge the battery every 6 months, and provide it with about 60% of the electric quantity to prolong its use life Since there are some hazardous substances in the battery, please do not discard it. Instead, dispose of the product that is damaged or will never be used according to the waste management measures.

Please do not disassemble the product or change its battery. If you have any question, please contact the seller to apply after-sales service.

Product Features

Smallrig RM120 RGB Video Light supports ultra-long battery life (7 80min continuous lighting at the highest power output). The design is in perfectly balance with the metallic material. Brightness can be finely adjusted between 0% ~ 100% in all modes, color temperature can be adjusted in a wide range of 2500K ~ 8500K in CCT mode. The red light, green light, blue light and white light can be mixed in RGBW mode, and hundreds of millions of colors can be obtained. In HSI mode, the color gamut can be changed from Oto 360° full color, and the color saturation can be adjusted from Oto 100. FX mode has up to 7 2 special lighting effects. The internal integrated intelligent temperature control protection system plays the role of high temperature automatic protection. This product has a USB-C charging input interface and supports PD and QC charging protocols.

Functions

1. Power On/ Off

   • To turn the product on, face the OLEO screen, and turn the power switch to the left to light the screen
   • To turn the product off, face the OLEO screen, and turn the power switch to the right to turn off the screen.

2. CCT Mode

   • When the product is turned on, press the menu button SET to enter the CCT Mode. Color temperature adjustment: Press the multi-function dial FN inward, and select the color temperature icon “
   • Turn up the multi-function dial FN once, the color temperature will increase by 1 OOK, and the dial will automatically rebound.
   • Turn up the multi-function dial FN and hold it, the color temperature will continue to increase, and the maximum value is 8500K.
   • Push down the multi-function dial FN once, the color temperature drops by 1 OOK, and the dial will automatically rebound.
   • Turn down the multi-function dial FN and keep it, the color temperature will continue to drop, the minimum value is 2500K.
   • Green product adjustment: Press the multi-function dial FN inward, and select the green product icon”~’
   • Move the multi-function dial FN upward once, the green value increases by l, and the dial will automatically rebound.
   • Turn up the multi-function dial FN and hold it, the green value will continue to increase, the maximum value is 10.
   • Move the multi-function dial FN down once, the green value drops by l, and the dial will automatically rebound.
   • Turn the multi-function dial FN down and keep it, the green value will continue to drop, the minimum value is -10.

3. RGBW Mode

   • When the product is turned on, press the menu button SET to enter the RGBW Mode.
     Press the multi-function dial FN inward to switch the settings in the icons
     “ “ ” ”  , (R Red, G: Green, B: Blue, W White).

   • Move the multi-function dial FN up once, the value increases by l, and the dial will automatically rebound

   • Move the multi-function dial FN up and hold, the value will continue to increase, the maximum value is 255.

   • Move the multi-function dial FN down once, the value will decrease by l, and the dial will automatically rebound

   • Move the multi-function dial FN down and hold, the value will continue to decrease, the minimum value is 0.

   • Brightness adjustment: slide the brightness adjustment wheel DIM, slide up to increase the brightness, slide down to decrease the brightness, the brightness can be adjusted in the range of o~ 100

4. HSI Mode

   • When the product is turned on, press the menu button SET to enter the HSI Mode, and then press the Function Control Wheel FN inward to make the arrow on the screen to point to H.
   • In HSI Mode, use the Brightness Adjusting Knob DIM to adjust the brightness. You may turn it upward or downward to increase or decrease the brightness.
   • Turn FN upward once to increase hue by l 0, and the wheel will be back automatically.
   • Turn FN upward and hold it to keep increasing hue which can be up to 360°. Once it surpasses the maximum value, it will become 0°.
   • Turn FN downward once to decrease hue l 0 , and the wheel will be back automatically.
   • Turn FN downward and hold it to keep decreasing hue which can be down to □□•.
   • Once it surpasses the minimum value, it will become 360°.
   • Press FN inward to make the arrow on the screen point to S.
   • Turn FN upward once to increase the saturation by 1, and the wheel will be back automatically.
   • Turn FN upward and hold it to keep increasing the saturation which can be up to l 00.
   • Turn FN downward once to decrease the saturation by 1, and the wheel will be back automatically.
   • Tum FN downward and hold it to keep decreasing the saturation which can be down to 0°

5. Scene Mode

   • When the product is turned on, press the menu button SET to enter the Scene Mode (FX).
   • In Scene Mode, use the Brightness Adjusting Knob DIM to adjust the brightness.
   • You may turn it upward or downward to increase or decrease the brightness.
   • In Scene Mode, keep pressing the Function Control Wheel FN inward to toggle.
   • between Warning Mode, RGB Cycle Mode, Lightning Mode and Special Mode.

6. Display of Battery Level
   When the product is turned on, current battery level will be displayed on the OLEO
   screen. When the output power changes, the battery level displayed will vary with
   the output power.

7. Charging
   • Flashing of the battery level icon means low battery. You need to charge the product with 5V / 9V charger by inserting the charger into the USB-C interface. If the charging is normal, there will be a plug icon on the display and the battery level will bounce like running water. After the charging is completed, the indication of battery level will stop bouncing.
   • If the device needs to be charged when it is turned on, please use the USB charger of 5V / 3A or above.

Tips

Using the device at full power for a long time may cause abnormal temperature on the shell surface, which is uncomfortable for human skin and directly related to the environment temperature. To protect the battery life, please do not use the light for a long time while charging.

Notes on Temperature Warning

1. Product is used in an environment with a high ambient temperature, or if the product is used continuously for a long period of time. This will automatically turn
2. of the product until it cools down. Product is used in an environment with a low ambient temperature. In such environments, the product may not operate properly.

Service Warranty

Please keep your original receipt and guarantee card. Be sure the dealer has written on it the date of purchase and SN of the product. These are required for warranty service.

After-sale warranty terms:

1. 7 Days DOA Return Policy: Within 7 days from the date of the package receipt, return or replacement can be done if the item received is malfunctioning or physical damaged (not caused by human abused), return shipping cost will be on SmallRig’s charge.
2. SmallRig products are entitled to warranty services as of the date of payment.
   • Electronic products: 1-year warranty, 7-year free warranty service
   • Non-electronic products: 2-year warranty, 2-year free warranty service.
     Note: In case of any conflict between our warranty period policy and applicable laws and regulations of the country/region where the products are sold, the latter shall prevail.

This warranty does not cover:

1. Defect caused by users’ violation of the “Warnings” and “Intended Use”.
2. The product identification or SN label is removed or defaced in any way.
3. Product damage caused by problems not attributable to the quality of the products such as improper use of the products.
4. Product damage caused by unauthorized modification, disassembly, repair and other acts.
5. Product damage caused by fires, floods, lightning and other force majeure factors.

Warranty Mode:
For the products within the scope of warranty, Small Rig will repair or replace them on the basis of specific failures; the repaired/replaced products/parts are entitled to the remaining part of the original warranty period.
