Thank you for purchasing our 2017-2022 Ford Super Duty Front Bumper! Installation Notes:
- This bumper is not compatible with trucks that are equipped with adaptive cruise control unless a relocation bracket is being used for the adaptive cruise control module.
- A control box relocation kit may be required for your winch if it is more than 9.5” tall from mounting surface to the top of the control box.
Tools required:
- 3/4” Wrench and Socket
- 9/16” Wrenches
- 18 mm Socket and Ratchet
- 15 mm Socket and Ratchet

Step 1:
Disconnect any block heaters, fog lights, or any other factory or aftermarket wiring that is connected to the bumper. Remove the plastic covers that are surrounding the tow hooks and covering the bolts holding the bumper on.
Step 2:
Using a 15 mm socket and rachet, remove the 2 bolts on each side of the bumper supporting it to the frame. The bolts can be accessed from each wheel well, on the front of the body mount.
Step 3:
Using a 18mm socket, remove the four bolts on each side of the bumper connecting the bumper to the tow hooks. Each top and bottom bolt are using the same flag nut, loosen thes bolts together to remove the flag nut.
Step 4:
With the help of a friend, carefully remove the bumper from the truck. Make sure everything is disconnected from the bumper before completely removing the bumper.
Step 5:
Remove each tow hook bracket and the lower frame bracket from each side of the
frame using the 18mm socket. Save two of the flag bolts and 4 nuts from the
lower frame bracket hardware.
Step 6:
Install the new frame brackets onto the frame using the 2 flag bolts from the
lower frame bracket. One flag bolt and 2 nuts per side. If you did not order
the winch tray, proceed with the installation of the 1/2” bolts, washers, and
nylock nuts on the top side of the frame brackets, using a washer on the bolt
head side and nut side. Fully tighten all hardware. Skip Step 7 if you did not
purchase the winch tray.
Step 7: Winch Tray Installation if Applicable
Place the winch tray on top of the new frame brackets and install using the
provided 1/2” bolts, washers, and nylock nuts. These bolts will go through the
winch tray, frame brackets and the frame in the factory holes. Fully tighten
all hardware for the winch tray and frame brackets. Now would be the time to
install the winch and relocate the control box if needed.
Step 8:
With the help of a jack or a buddy, carefully install the center section of
the bumper on to the frame brackets. Loosely install the provided 1/2” nylock
nuts and washers onto the carriage bolts sticking through the frame brackets.
Step 9:
Install each wing on each side of the center section with the provided 3/8”
bolts, washers, and nylock nuts. Leave the hardware loose to allow for
adjustments.
Step 10:
Once all the hardware is installed, with the help of a jack or a buddy, adjust
the bumper to the desired height and ensure the bumper is centered. Once the
bumper is in the desired location, fully tighten all the hardware on the
center section and both wings.
