    • 8x M6 mounting screws to be attached to the uprights.

Flip the desk:
Turn the desktop upside down with the drill holes facing up.

Slide and place the beam:
Extend the beam to the desired length (width 1150 to 1750 mm), adjustable in steps of 50 mm. Place the beam on the desktop. Make sure that the RJ45 socket of the beam and the drilled holes in the desktop for the desktop control are on the same side. Or in the case of a desktop with pre-drilled holes: make sure that the drilled holes match the holes in the beam. Do not pull the beam completely apart to avoid pulling the drive shaft apart. Minimum adjustment in the connection end is 100 mm (to keep the power and RJ45 (data cable) connections accessible), otherwise adjustable in 50 mm increments.

Attach the cantilevers:

  1. Place a cantilever slightly tilted at the end of the beam.
  2. Press the cantilever into place until you hear a click and lock the cantilever into position.
  3. Mount the cantilevers at the end of both sides of the beam. Ensure that the cantilevers are positioned correctly and cannot be twisted from the beam. Do not use the cantilevers as handles to grab the beam.

Align and fix the frame:
Place the assembled frame in the correct position. Make sure the drill holes match the holes in the beam & cantilevers.

Secure the frame with screws:
Secure the frame into the desktop using the 20 mounting screws as follows:

  • 4 screws at the ends
  • 8 screws on the beam
  • 8 screws in the cantilevers

Install the manual control. Plug the black cable into the RJ45 connection of the beam. Use the 2 mounting screws to secure the manual controller to the blade.

Mount the columns:
Make sure the columns are fully retracted. If the uprights are placed upside down, press with your hand to the fully retracted position.

Connect the power cable:

  1. Make sure to relieve the cable using the cable clamp when attaching the cable to the desktop.
  2. Tilt the column and place it correctly on the beam using the guide notches.
  3. Attach the upright to push through until a click is heard and both catches in the upright are locked in the correct position. Check whether both catches are visible after mounting the uprights. Otherwise, remove the upright and try again.

Attach the feet:

  1. Mount the feet to the uprights using eight M6 mounting screws.
  2. Install the adjusting screws.

Level the WORK & MOVE Desk:

  • Turn the WORK & MOVE Desk on its feet and make sure it is level.
  • Use the adjustment screws to level the WORK&MOVE desk. (see 10.2).

  1. Turn the desktop upside down with the drill holes facing up.

  2. Extend the beam to the desired length. (width 1150 to 1750 mm), adjustable in 50 mm steps.

    • Place the beam on the desktop.

    • Do not pull the beam completely apart to prevent the drive shaft from being pulled apart.
    • The minimum adjustment in the connection end is 100 mm (to keep the power and RJ45 (data cable) connections accessible), otherwise adjustable in 50 mm increments.
  3. Place a cantilever slightly tilted at the end of the beam.

  4. Place the assembled frame in the correct position. Make sure the drill holes match the holes in the beam & cantilevers.

  5. Secure the frame into the desktop using the 20 mounting screws as follows:

    • A. 4 screws at the ends of the beam. Use one of these screws to attach the mains cable to the beam with a cable clamp, creating a cable relief, see step 7.
    • B. 8 screws to the beam.
    • C. 8 screws in the cantilevers.
    • D. Install the manual control. Plug the black cable into the RJ45 connection of the beam. Use the 2 mounting screws to secure the manual controller to the blade.
    • E. Connect the WORK & MOVE cable to the RJ45 connection (next to the manual controller).BAKKER-ELKHUIZEN-RJ45-Work-and-Move-Desk-fig- \(4\) If you plug the WORK & MOVE cable into the RJ45 socket, you can operate the table with the WORK & MOVE software installed on your laptop. If you want to raise or lower the table without WORK & MOVE is connected, use the manual control.
  6. Install the uprights

  7. Make sure that the columns are fully retracted.
    If the uprights are placed upside down, then press with your hand to the fully retracted position.

  8. Connect the power cable.

  9. Make sure you have the cable relieved the burden with the help of the cable clamp when attaching the cable to it desktop.BAKKER-ELKHUIZEN-RJ45-Work-and-Move-Desk-fig- \(6\)

  10. Tilt the column and place it on the right way the beam using the conductive notches.

  11. Attach the upright to push through until a “click” is heard and both catches in the upright are locked in the correct position.BAKKER-ELKHUIZEN-RJ45-Work-and-Move-Desk-fig- \(8\)

  12. Check whether both catches are visible after mounting the uprights. Otherwise, remove the upright and try again.

  13. Install the feet.

  14. Mount the feet on the uprights using eight M6 mounting screws.

  15. Install the adjusting screws.

  16. Turn the WORK & MOVE Desk on its feet and make sure it is level stands. Use the adjustment screws to level the WORK&MOVE desk to get. (see 10.2).

  17. Connect the WORK & MOVE Desk to the wall socket and check whether both the manual and WORK & MOVE controls work.
    Your WORK & MOVE Desk is now ready for use.

Download the WORK & MOVE software. You have the WORK & MOVE license and the manual will be emailed to you with your order.

Dismantling

To dismantle the beam, use a WORK & MOVE Desk disassembly tool (which can be ordered with code BNELINWMDT). This disassembly tool has ridges on one side. Point this side toward the outside of the table.

  1. Adjust the desk to the minimum height so that the uprights are fully retracted.
  2. Disconnect the desk from the mains.
  3. Turn the desk upside down.
  4. Disconnect the manual controller, loosen it, and remove it.
  5. Unscrew and remove the feet.
  6. Place the disassembly tool on the beam with the ribs facing the carriage.
  7. Press straight down to release the cantilever.
  8. At the same time, press down on the removal tool and tilt the column firmly to remove it from the beam.
  9. Repeat steps 6 to 8 for the other side of the frame.
