- Then pour out the water and repeat the procedure several times (at least five times).
APPLICATIONS
- Unwind the necessary length of the power cord B2 from the storage space of the stand B. Place the stand on a suitable surface, in the height of about 85 cm, out of reach of children and incapacitated persons and plug the fork of the power cord to the electric socket.
- Hold the kettle A on the handle A4. Open the lid A5 by pressing the lock button A6. Fill the kettle with drinking water. The minimum and maximum amount of water is marked on the water gauge A3. Close the lid by snapping. Put the electric kettle on the stand and turn it to the I position by the A1 button. Function of the electric kettle is signaled with the control light A2. After boiling the appliance switches off automatically. Before reaching the boiling point, you can switch off the appliance by turning the A1 button to the 0 position.
- Always use fresh drinking water for boiling.
Remark
- The kettle remembers the previous setting when it is removed from the stand and placed back on it.
- If you remove the kettle from the base during heating and then put it back, the kettle will be interrupted. However, if you have the function of temperature maintaining activated, the heating will continue when the kettle is laid!
Tea strainer A6
- If you want to use a tea strainer, you must first place the A7 strainer as shown. Insert the tea strainer into it. Do not put the tea mixture in the tea strainer until the desired temperature has been reached. Be careful when attaching the adapter and inserting the strainer, including removing
it – risk of scalding
- Please consider the following tips as examples and inspiration not intended to provide complete instructions, but just to show the possibilities of heating of various liquids. Water temperatures are only approximate and may vary according to personal taste, quantity, type, quality and age of the used tea, coffee, etc.
- 40 °C = infant formula milk,
- 60 °C = hot beverages,
- 70 °C = green teas,
- 80 °C = white teas,
- 100 °C = black, herbal teas.
Note : If you are going to heat up water to a low temperature (40 or 50 °C), it is necessary to have at least 0.7 litre of water in the kettle to reach the preset temperature more accurately. In the case of a lower volume, the actual temperature may exceed the preset temperature.
- Before reaching the set water temperature, the appliance can be switched off „manually“ by repeated pressing the respective button B3 . Always use fresh drinking water for boiling. The temperature and time heating depends on the amount of water and the initial temperature of water. For the correct temperature setting, follow the manufacturers‘ instructions that are described on food packages (e.g. tea, coffee, instant drinks, soaps, etc.).
Keep warm function
If you want to heat the water to the desired temperature and reheat it at the same time, press.
Note
- The control on the stand does not work without the kettle on it.
- If you set the heating temperature lower than the current water temperature, the kettle will switch off. However, if you press the hold temperature button B4 while setting the temperature lower than the current temperature, the kettle will keep the temperature at the set value (i.e., wait until the water temperature drops to this value and will maintain it).
- If you are preparing food for very young children (e.g. to 40 or 60 °C), the water must be heated to a boil (100 °C) first. Wait until the water cools down and check its temperature before serving. The recommended safe temperature food for children is max. 40 °C.
Recommendation
When the kettle is not used, do not place it on the stand connected to the mains. If you are going not to use the kettle for a long time, unplug the power cord from the wall socket.
MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the appliance from power supply by taking the fork of the power cord out of the socket! Clean the kettle only when it is cooled down! Do not use rough and aggressive detergents (e.g. sharp objects, scrapers, diluting agents or other solvents)! The casing of the electric kettle is made of top-quality glass and the heating bottom is made of top-quality stainless steel, but in common use, impurities from water get stuck on them (water scale), particularly above the heating element. It is not rust or another material defect of the kettle container. If you leave tea to infuse in the kettle, you will need to clean the kettle more frequently.
Cleaning the kettle
- Pour about 50 g citric acid to the kettle with the water scale sediment. Fill the kettle to about one half and mix. After it dissolves, fill the kettle to 3/4 of the maximum amount of water. Place the electric kettle on the stand and turn it on. Before boiling, turn off the kettle, let the solution take effect for about 10 minutes and then pour it out. Clean the kettle thoroughly with clean water. Repeat the whole procedure if the kettle is too soiled. Clean the electric kettle regularly!
Cleaning the sieve (A5)
- Take the sieve from the kettle. Clean it from possible sediments in running water using a fine brush. Then put the sieve back in the opposite way.
Cleaning the tea strainer (A6)
- Clean the filter after each use under running water with a soft brush.
ENVIRONMENT
