Installation Instructions:
1. Door Measurements:
Backset: The distance from the door edge to the center of the
hole on the door face.
For a 2 3/8″ (60mm) backset, rotate the latch to extend it.
For a 2 3/4″ (70mm) backset, no adjustment is needed.
2. Adjust Latch Backset:
Install the latch. For a 2 3/8″ (60mm) backset, rotate the latch
to extend it. For a 2 3/4″ (70mm) backset, no adjustment is
needed.
3. Install Strike on the Door Frame:
Do not overtighten screws. Make sure the hole in the door frame
is at least 1″ (25mm) deep.
4. Check Alignment:
With the door closed, check the alignment between the latch and
the strike plate. Make sure that when the deadbolt is extended, it
goes into the bolt hole and does not hit the deadbolt strike or
door frame.
5. Install Keypad Assembly:
Install the keypad assembly and mounting plate. Keep it parallel
to the door edge. Do not overtighten screws.
6. Install Interior Assembly:
Do not put batteries in yet. Connect the cable by pushing the
connector in firmly until it is completely seated. Check deadbolt
operation by turning the thumbturn back and forth. If the thumbturn
doesn’t rotate, repeat steps and apply more force.
7. Detect Door Orientation / Factory Reset:
Always reset your lock after installation. The motor will not
operate before completing this step.
8. Install Batteries:
Install batteries. Use new, non-rechargeable Alkaline batteries
only and do not mix old and new batteries.
9. Reset the Lock:
Press and hold the reset button with a pen or a paper clip and
proceed to the next step. Place the third battery and keep holding
the reset button until the latch extends. If the latch doesn’t
extend within seconds, repeat steps and make sure the latch is
always retracted.
10. Test the Lock:
Test with the door open to avoid accidental lockout.
Locking: Press and hold any key for seconds.
Unlocking: Press any key to activate.

How To Reset

Solutions
A Make sure the thumbturn is vertical and door unlock when installing. B Use
much more strength to rotate the thumbturn. C Step 1: Make sure the cable is
properly seated when connecting.
Step 2: Make sure the batteries are placed properly. Step 3: Change another 4
fresh AA alkaline batteries. D Disconnect all batteries. Press and release any
key and keep the batteries disconnected for at least 5 minutes. E Make sure
the end of latch bolt doesn’t touch the wood in the door hole. Enlarge the
door hole if needed. F Slightly loosen the screws H & I. G Make sure the latch
and the strike plate are properly aligned and make sure to reset the lock with
the door opened. H Repeat (Step 8) for factory reset. All codes, fingerprints
and settings will be erased after reset. The default master code is 12345678.
I Hit (not hold) any key to activate the keypad before entering code. J Check
that if latch bolt is broken. K Door handing is the same as factory reset.
Your lock has restored to factory default. Re-program your codes. L Re-install
and reset the whole lock, make sure the latch is retracted and thumbturn
vertical when installing. M Step 1: Press the next button within 6 seconds.
Step 2: Check if the current master code you entered is correct. Step 3:
Change master code first. Step 4: Enter a new code in correct format and
within 4 to 10 digits long. N Step 1: Clean your finger to ensure it is not
wet, moisty, or dirty. Step 2: If the scanner has any liquid or dirt, clean it
with a dry cloth. Step 3: Make sure this finger has been registered. O Touch
and hold the fingerprint sensor for about 1 to 2 seconds.

P Step 1: Make sure the bolt hole on the door frame is at least 1 inch deep so
the bolt fully extends. Step 2: Check if the door closes properly. Make sure
when the deadbolt is extended, it is going into the bolt hole and not hitting
the deadbolt strike or door frame. Step 3: Check for loose door hinges. Q
Remove the lock from the door. Re-assemble lock without securing screws and
mounting plate on hand. Then reset the lock on hand, and test locking and
unlocking. This can test if lock is defective. R There’s a micro-usb charging
port under the exterior keypad. Use a Micro USB cable to connect a portable
phone charger to supply power for keypad. Note that this is not to charge the
batteries. S When batteries are running low, you’ll see 10 flash red lights
after pressing any key on keypad. ** If none of the above resolves your issue,
