Before use

  2. Emit steam for a few minutes before first use to remove any impurities and odours resulting from the manufacturing process.
  3. To avoid overloading the circuit, do not connect the appliance to a socket that is shared by several appliances, e.g., a multi-socket adaptor.
  4. When opening the box, make sure that all parts and components are included and in good condition.

Installation and use

  • Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials.
  • Turn the water tank to the unlocked position, remove it, open the lid, and fill it to at least 1/3 of its capacity; then, reinstall it.
  • Hold the garment steamer by the handle with one hand and install the fabric brush on the steam head with the other hand. Tighten the tab of the attachment.
  • Plug the appliance into the mains and press the on/off button: the indicator light will flash blue and the garment steamer will start preheating. When the indicator light stops and preheating is complete, you can start using the iron. Press the steam button to activate the steam emission and press it again to deactivate it. Unplug the iron after use.

The iron includes an automatic shut-off system that is activated after 8 minutes of inactivity.
Press the steam or the on/off button to restart the garment steamer.
Ironing

  • The garment steamer is very easy to use and is suitable for ironing creased clothes and curtains, as well as for refreshing decorative fabrics. It can also be used for many knitwear items.
  • Note: the appliance is designed for ironing vertically hung garments. Do not use the appliance for ironing horizontally laid garments.
  • Check that the back of the fabric is breathable to prevent steam from building up on the garment and making it wet.
  • Check the pockets to make sure they are empty.
  • Check the back of the clothes for objects easily damaged by steam.
  • Do not apply steam on or near the metal parts of the garment to avoid discolouration.
  • When pressing the steam button, it is normal to feel a vibration and hear a slight buzzing sound.
  • When ironing, carefully pass the brush up and down over the creases in the garment.
  • If you do not use the brush, keep the iron head at least 5 cm away from the garment.
  • If the buzzing sound becomes louder and the iron does not emit steam, it means that the water tank needs to be filled.

After use

  1. Before switching off the appliance, wait 15 seconds for the steam to dissipate. Then, press the on/off button or unplug the appliance.
  2. Remove the tank, open the cap, and empty the tank into a bucket or sink.
