What do I do if my drill will not charge

A) Check the battery is placed on a level flat surface and the charger lead firmly pushed into place located on top of the battery, then make sure the charger is plugged correctly into your power outlet. B) When the battery is fully charged the LED light will change from red to green meaning the battery is fully charged. If it shows red the battery is not fully charged so will only operate on low power. C) Check the charger connection is fully inserted and secure into the battery connection located at thetop of the battery. D) If the unit will still not charge contact your place of purchase for replacement, refund or contact the customer service department shown in the user manual for a replacement charger or battery.

My drill does not have enough power to drill a hole.

A) Make sure you are using the correct drill for the correct task ahead. This drill you have purchased is not a hammer drill and only designed for light DIY tasks around the home and garden so is not powerful enough to drill into brick or concrete. Read the user manual to explain how to use the drill correctly. B) Make sure the torque setting isset to the drill icon for light drilling tasks. C) Make sure the battery is fully inserted into the drill body, when fitted correctly it will click into place. The drill battery can only be removed from the drill body by firmly pushing down on the battery button located at the front of the battery and at the same time pulling away from the drill body.

I cannot release the chuck to insert or tighten up around the drill bit or screwdriver bits, or the drills bits or screwdriver bits wobble.

A) Simply hold the chuck tightly and operate the drill trigger in forward or reverse to releasethe chuck. B) You may not have inserted the bits correctly, try releasing them and re-inserting them so the bits are more central when tightening the chuck.

4. My drill sparks or as a burning smell

A) The sparking issue is a normal function which is caused as the carbon brushes pass by the commutator. These small sparks are a normal function of the cordless drill operation, please refer to your user manual on page 5 point 9. B) Your drill for the first few uses will sometimes submit a burning smell, this is normal and due to all new components in the drill and will disappear normally after the first few uses. If they are anything you are insured of you can contact our dedicated customer service helpline shown in themanual by telephone or email.
