Safety Instructions

Please read this instruction manual carefully before use and keep in a safe place for future reference. If you give the appliance to another person supply them with this instruction manual.

General Information

Please read the entire instruction manual before using the product and save for future reference. Warning: risk of fire, electric shock, physical injuries and material damage.
Before using this appliance, always follow the safety advice during assembly, use and maintenance.

SAFETY ADVICE

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
• Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

CAUTION – Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

1. If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
2. CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
3. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

5. WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
6. The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
7. Means for disconnection having a contact separation in all poles must be incorporated in the fixed wiring in accordance with the wiring rules.
8. Regarding the installation method and the electrical connection, refer to the relevant paragraphs given below.
9. The heater must be installed at least 1.8 m above the floor.
10.  Do not place the mains lead beneath a carpet or rug.
11. Make sure that the correct plug is used.
12.  The appliance should not be used in locations where paint, petrol or other flammable liquids are used or stored. Do not place/install the heater on flammable surfaces or near to flammable articles.
13. Ensure that curtains are at least 900mm (3 feet) from any point of the heater.
14. Leave a gap of at least 200mm (8 inches) at the sides and above the heater from other objects.
15.  If the fan stops running the appliance should be turned off immediately.
16. Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
17. Do not install the appliance in bathrooms, showers, near swimming pools or other humid, wet or damp environments.
18. Do not expose the unit to dusty atmospheres.
19. If any liquids or foreign bodies are spilled into the unit turn the appliance off at the unit and mains immediately. Do not try to operate and contact a qualified person for advice.
20. Do not insert any object into the heater through the grilles. This may damage the heater or result in overheating or electric shock.

Installation

Your appliance shall be used only in a fixed position and shall be installed at least at 1.80m from the ground (Respect the installation rules given below)
Note: All drawing are for reference only. This unit must be installed by a qualified electrician.

Function operation (both machine & remote control)

1. Plug in and switch on by pressing the red switch 011, to enter standby mode (display shows B(above, right))
2. Press button once, to enter into fan mode and the display will show “–“(Image A below).
3. Press a second lime to enter low healing mode 1 OOOW (image B below).
4. Press a third lime to enter high healing mode 2000W (Image C below).
5.  Press a fourth lime, enter into swing and display shows” :” (Image C below)
6. Press fifth time to return to standby mode and display will show as image A below until the cool down sequence (30 seconds) has finished and the unit will enter standby mode.

7. Press button to set timer (00-12 hours). Every press of button increases the timer for one hour. After setting the timer, the display will show current set time for 5 seconds, then resume to previous display, whilst displaying . Below image is an example of setting for Bhours:

8. Delay Start: In standby mode, press timer button to set the start time between 00-12 hours. After setting, the display shows the delay time and . The display will count down until the unit turns on. The default setting temperature is 23°C during delayed start. Below image is an example of delay start time set to 8 hours:

Note: If not set to the temperature and weekly program, the unit will automatically turn off after 12 hours of continuous work, and enter into standby.

Function Operation (remote control)

Note: The controller transmits via infrared and must be aimed towards the unit controls during operation

1. Press button once, to enter into fan mode and the display will show “- -” (Image A below)
2. Press button once to enter low heating mode 1 OOOW (image B below).
3. Press a second time to enter high heating mode 2000W (Image C below).
4.  Press button once to set swing function, press again to cancel.

5. The timer C9 function on the remote control operates the same as the timer button on unit body.
6. To set current TIME/DAY (in either standby or woriking mode):
7. Press button once for hour setting (the display shows 12 as default).
8. Use to set current hour (00-24 hours).
9. Press again for minute setting (display shows 30 as default).
10. Use to set current minute (DO – 59 minutes)
11. Press again for day setting (display shows as default)
12. Use to set current day (Monday (d1)- Sunday (d7))
13. Press to confirm the setting, the display will show previous settings.

7. To set temperature during operation:

8. Press (display will show 23 as default) to set desired temperature (10-49°C)

9. Press To confirm the setting.
   Note: When a temperature has been set, ii will use SMART working:

  * Set temp – ambient temp >2°C: high power
  * O’C< Set temp – ambient temp =<2°C: low power
  * Set temp – ambient temp =O’C: the fan will operate cool down procedure, then enter into standby mode.
  * After entering standby mode, the unit will resume heating when the ambient temperature drops 2°C below set temperature.

8. To cancel the set temperature: press key to choose Low: : or High : :heating. The display will no longer show ‘C will display”-“.After continuous heating for 12hours, the unit will operate cool down procedure, then enter into standby mode.

Set weekly program (remote control)

After setting current TIME/DAY, below are the steps to set weekly program:

1. Press to enter working status.
2. Press to enter into weekly program setting (Image A below).
3. Press to set working day (Monday (d1)- Sunday (d2)) (Image B below).
4. Press to set the time period (up to 6 lime periods can be set per day) (Image C below).
5. Press (display shows 00 as default) to set the turn-on lime (24 hours) (Image D below, time set to 7am).
6. Press (display shows 00 as default) to set the turn-off time (24 hours) (Image E below, lime set to 1 pm (13hrs).

7. Press to set the target temperature(10-49°C)
8. Repeat steps 3-7 above to set the whole weekly program.
9. Press to confirm the setting.
10. To cancel the weekly function, press again and the “P” light will go off. The product will revert to the previous function status.

Note

• After the above setting are completed and P program is working, press@8@@to check the setting time of each day and lime periods.
• The ‘turn-on’ lime periods can only be set 00-24hours; cannot be set to minutes
• The “TIME/OFF” cannot be less than “TIME/ON”
• When the “TIME/ON” is equal to “TIME/OFF”, the unit will enter into standby mode;
• If mains power is switched off, or the unit is unplugged, it will need to be reset. Press©to check you set Time /Day

Set open-window detection (ONLY by remote control)

1. Press to power the unit on and allow the unit to reach a steady state.
2. Press and l”C will be illuminated (the temperature will display 23 by default)
3. Press to set target temperature. During open-window detection mode, once the ambient temperature drops 5-1 O’C within 10 minutes, then the product will stop working within 30 minutes and enter into stand-by mode.
4. Press to turn on the product.
5. Press again to turn off the open-window detection, the light will go off and the product will resume to previous working mode. Below is an example to set 23’C during open-window detection {Image F)
6. The open-window detection can also be used during weekly programmed operation (Image G below)

Maintenance and cleaning

• WARNING: Never use detergent, chemical damage plastic parts.
• WARNING: Always unplug and disconnect from the power source before attempting to clean this unit. Let the appliance cool down completely before handling or cleaning. To prevent risk of fire or electrocution inside the appliance.
• Clean the outside wall of the appliance by rubbing it gently with soft, damp cloth.
• Regularly clean the air inlet and outlet vents of the fan.
• Ensure the unit is completely dry before plugging back into the power outlet.

PAT TESTING

When used in a workplace, this product must be safety-tested yearly by a qualified electrician (PAT Tested) in order to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations. We recommend that it is PAT tested regularly when used in a domestic environment.

SERVICE WARRANTY
