Does my computer need to support video over USB-C to use the Belkin INC002?
- No. If your computer supports data over USB-C, you can use the dock.
Can I use the dock with my computer if it does not charge over USB-C?
- The Belkin INC002 can be used with computers that do not charge over USB-C.
- The dock and computer will negotiate the charging. Since your computer cannot support charging over USB-C the dock will not try to charge your computer.

How many computers can I connect at the same time to the dock?
- Only a single computer can be connected at a time.
What resolutions does the dock support?
- The Belkin INC002 supports up to 1080P at 60 Hz on each port.
What are the screw holes for on the dock?
- The screw holes allow you to mount the dock to a desk or VESA® mount. The VESA mount is not included with the dock.
Can the dock be used without a power supply?
- No. The dock requires a power supply to function. It cannot be powered by your computer’s USB-C port.
What will happen if I do not have the DisplayPort™ software installed on my computer?
- Without installing the DisplayLink software, you will not be able to use the external monitor functionality of the dock.
Is there any performance loss when using a DisplayLink® dock?
- The DisplayLink software uses your computer’s CPU power to send the display image to your external monitors.
- If your computer has a dedicated 3D graphics card, software applications such as games can use this to create the images to display but your computer’s CPU will be responsible for sending the image to your monitor.
- This means you may see a higher CPU usage or slight performance reduction in 3D graphics frame rates when using DisplayLink.
