How to take out/ put back the wireless remote shutter
(To recharge and reactive remote every 2 or 3 months.)
- Lift the remote from the bottom and take it out.
- Put the top part of the remote back first, then press the bottom part to secure it.
Note: There is a clear sound when the remote is put back in the right way.
How to use
- Step 1 Open and Adjust Selfie Stick Tripod.
Tripod Mode
- First, slightly unlock the 3 legs on the bottom;
- Then pull out the the phone holder and hold the pole to pull the whole extendable pole out, the tripod will fully open automatically.
- This is similar to an umbrella structure. (Be careful not to pinch your fingers.)
- Finally, adjust the extendable pole height to find the best shooting position.
- ATTENTION: A tripod can only be used when it is fully opened, ensuring that the tripod is stable enough.
- WRONG: Please do not pull the 3 legs directly to open the tripod
Step 2: Attach the Phone Device.
- Using the phone, stretch the phone holder to a suitable length easily, then release it in order to put the phone inside the phone holder.
- Please avoid getting the phone buttons stuck.
Selfie Stick Mode
- Just pull out the extendable pole to use as a Selfie Stick.
- Step 3: Rotate the Phone Holder to a Suitable Angle.
Step 4 Release the Phone Device and Close the Tripod.
- Using the phone, stretch the phone holder to a suitable length easily, then release it in order to take out the phone.
- Push the extendable pole back to close the tripod
- WRONG: Please do not push the 3 legs directly to close the tripod.
Wireless Remote Shutter Instructions
- Turn On/Off:
- Press and hold the camera button on the remote shutter for 3 seconds to turn the remote on or off.
- The green indicator light flashes slowly when the remote is on and not connected. If there’s no connection for 10 minutes, the remote will shut down.
- Connect via Bluetooth:
- Turn on the remote shutter and go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings. Search for and connect to the “ATUMTEK” Bluetooth name. Once fully connected, the remote indicator light will turn solid green. If you have multiple ATUMTEK remotes, make sure to clear other devices and then rename the remotes to distinguish between them.
- Taking Pictures and Videos with the Remote Shutter
- After connecting the remote to your phone, open your phone camera and press the remote button once to take a picture
- To take a video, select the video option in the camera and then press the remote button once to start recording. Press the button again to stop recording.
- Note: The remote cannot control phone apps. * If there is no clicking for 10 minutes, the remote will shut down.
- Low Battery & Recharging
- The remote could not open when it was low battery.
- The red light will be on while charging. You will not be able to use the remote while it is charging.
- The indicator light will be off after fully charged
- Note: * It takes around 30 minutes to fully charge the remote.
- The new tripod already comes with a fully charged remote.

- Some Android phones use phone volume buttons to control the camera or zoom. Please reset on phone camera settings, find the volume key function, and set the volume key function to shutter. (Do not select zoom or focus.)
