INTRODUCTION
The time recorder is designed with a compact size and large display, using High-end technology to meet your expectations for superior performance, extended use, and reliability. Before you operate this unit, please read this illustrated manual.

This time recorder has two modes. Normal print mode and setting mode. Normal print mode to the right and setting mode to the left Normal mode.(The six buttons from left to right .)

Setting mode (the six buttons from left to right)

6 . Enter| In the setting mode, press the button to save the current setup and
begin the setup of the next function.
Before Operation

POWER SOURCE
Plug the unit into the continuous and correct voltage of the power source (refers to the indication of Voltage on the label of the machine) [The time recorder has a Lithium Battery on the PC board to keep the correct time and program when a power failure occurs. Always plug the unit into the correct outlet or replace the battery after its failure. -
OPENING AND CLOSING THE LID
When you want to set the program or change the Ribbon Cassette, please open the lid, put the key in the hole, turn the key, and remove the cover.
Sitting
Open the lid and move the setting button to the right to enter setting mode.
SETTING THE YEAR
- Move the setup switch (under SETUP) to the right, enter the setting mode, press button to choose setting number 01
- Press the ENTER button to enter the year setting
- Press to select the correct year.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- The setting number now turns to 02
- Continue the next set of settings or slide the setup switch to the left to complete and exit the setting.
SETTING DATE
- Move the setup switch to the left to enter setting mode, and press the button to choose setting number 02.
- Press to select the correct month
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting
- Press to select the correct date.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting
- The setting number now turns to 03
- Continue the next set of settings or slide the setup switch to the right to complete and exit setting.
SETTING TIME
- In setting mode, press the button to choose setting number 03
- Press the ENTER button to enter the time setting
- Press to select the correct hour.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting
- Press to select the correct minute.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting
- The setting number now turns to 04
- Continue the next set of settings or slide the setup switch to the right to complete and exit the setting.
SETTING DAY LINE CHANGE TIME
- In setting mode, press the button to choose setting number 04
- Press the ENTER button to enter the setting
- Press to select the desired dayline change hour (original setting is 00:00)
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting
- Press to select the desired dayline change minute
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting
- The setting number now turns to 05
- Continue the next set of settings or slide the setup switch to the right to complete and exit the setting.
SETTING CARD FORMAT
- In setting mode, press the button to choose setting number 05
- Press the ENTER button to enter the setting
- Press to select the desired time card format.
- the 1st row is blank (standard time card)
- the 16th row blank
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting
- The setting number now turns to 06
- Continue the next set of settings or slide the setup switch to the right to complete and exit the setting.
SETTING TIME CARD & PAY PERIOD ENDING DATE
- In setting mode, press button to choose setting number 06
- Press the ENTER button to enter settings.
- Press to select 00/01 for the time card type.
- the weekly pay time card.
- without card surface detection for Bi-weekly
- If 01-weekly pay is chosen . the display will turn to a weekday setting.
- Press [±) G to select one of the weekdays as the pay ending date.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- The setting number now turns to 07
SETTING HOURS MODE
- In setting mode, press button to choose setting number 07
- Press the ENTER button to enter the hour’s mode setting
- Press to select the desired hours 12/24
- 12-12hours mode (ex. 1:00 PM= 1:00)
- 24-24hours mode (ex. 1:00 PM= 13:00)
- Press the ENTER button to confirm setting the setting number now turns to 08
- Continue the next set of settings or slide the setup switch to the right to complete and exit the setting.

SETTING PRINTING POSITION
- In setting mode, press button to choose setting number 08
- Press the ENTER button to enter the setting
- Press to select the desired vertical printing position setting.
- The number between 00-15, the number building up, the printing position will move to the upper of the row.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- Press to select the desired horizontal printing position setting
- The number between 00-30, the number building up
- The printing position will move to the right of the column
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- The setting number now turns to 09
- Continue the next set of settings or slide the ‘f setup switch to the right to complete and exit the setting.
SETTING DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME
- In setting mode, press the button to choose setting number 09
- Press the ENTER button to enter the setting
- Press to select the beginning month for Daylight Saving Time.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- Press to select the beginning date for Daylight Saving Time.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- Press to select the beginning hour for Daylight Saving Time.
- Now display turns to the setting of ending time for Daylight Saving Time.
- Press to select the ending month for Daylight saving Time.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- Press to select the ending date for Daylight Saving Time.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- Press to select the ending hours for the day.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- The setting number now turns to 10
- To continue the next set of settings slide the setup switch to the right to complete and exit the setting. PS. At the time of Daylight saving that will be automatically advancing one hour and at the ending time will go back to the original time. To have no Daylight Saving Time, set the month to 00.
10 SETTING PRINTING FORMAT
- In setting mode. Press the button to choose setting number 10 on the left bottom of the display.
- Press the ENTER button to enter settings.
- Press to select the desired printing mode.
- 60 Minutes printing mode ( 1/60 hour)
- Centesimal printing mode ( 1/ 100 hour)
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- The setting number now turns to 11.
- To continue the next set of settings slide the Setting button to the right to complete and exit the setting.
SETTING ON/OFF FUNCTION FOR AUTODETECTING MONTHLY TIME CARD.
- In setting mode. Press the button to choose setting number 11 on the left bottom of the display.
- Press the ENTER button to enter the setting.
- Press to select 00/01
- with a function for auto-detecting time card
- Without a function for auto-detecting time card
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- Continue setting from setting the number to 11 by pressing or slide the setup switch to the right to complete and exit the setting.
PS: If you are using a time card without a small cut on the bottom, please set the function to “01”.
SETTING PRINTING COLOR

In setting mode. Press the COLOR button to enter the printing color setting.

Press ENTER to enter the hours setting.

Press tc to select desired hours for color change.

Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.

Press[±) to select the desired minute for color print.

Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting

Press [B to select/02forcolor print.

“01-for black color print (Noma I backlight snowing)

“’02-for red color print (The other backlight showing)
PS. Only the machine with 02 backlight has the function in the above bracket -
Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.

Now the display turns to the weekday setting. PS. If weekdays are not necessary to be set, press the ENTER button to skip steps 10- 13.

Press to select weekdays. If the weekday is chosen the sign will be flashed on the top of the display.

Press the COLOR button once to delete the selected weekday for color print (press COLOR again to show the sign}

Press to move weekdays Sign and COLOR button to register weekdays for COLOR print. If you want to reset it again. please press the button again choose weekdays, and press the “COLOR button” The weekdays sign recovers.

After completing the weekday setting. Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.

Now the setting number turns to 02 repeat steps 2- 13.

Continue the next set of settings or slide the setup switch to the right to complete and exit the setting.
SETTING MUSIC/OUTPUT
- In setting mode, press the MUSIC button to enter the music/output setting.
- Press ENTER to enter the hours setting.
- Press to select desired hours for music/output.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- Press to select the desired minute for music/output.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- Press [ to select 01/02 or 03 for the music/output setting.
- lnternal music bell .
- external bell alarm output.
- music bell & external bell alarm output.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- Press to set the duration for signal output.
- origin setting-00:15( 15 seconds)
- Maximum duration-30 sec.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- Now the display turns to a weekday setting. PS. If weekdays are not necessary to be set. Press the ENTER button to skip steps 12-15.
- Press to select weekdays • If the weekday Is chosen the sign will be flashing on the top of the display.
- Press the MUSIC button once to delete the selected weekday for music/output .(press. MUSIC again to show the sign)
- Press to move the weekday sign and MUSIC button to register weekdays for music/output.
- After completing the weekday setting press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- Now the setting number turns to 02. Repeat steps 2- 16.
- Continue the next set of settings or slide the setup switch to the right to complete and exit the setting.
SETTING COLUMN FOR PRINTING POSITION
- In setting mode, press the COLUMN button to enter the column setting.
- Press the ENTER button to enter the hours setting.
- Press to select desired hours for column print.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- Press to select the desired minute for column print.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- Press to select columns 01-06 for print.
- Press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- Now display turns to weekdays setting.
- PS. If weekdays are not necessary to be set.
- Press the ENTER button to skip steps 10- 13.
- Press to select weekdays. If the weekday is chosen, the sign will be flashed on the top of the display.
- Press the COLUMN button once to delete the selected weekday for column print (press the column again to show the sign)
- Press to move the weekdays sign. And COLUMN button to register on weekdays for column print.
- After completing the weekday setting, press the ENTER button to confirm the setting.
- Now the setting number turns to 02. Repeat steps 2- 13.
- Continue the next set of settings or slide setup switch to the right to complete and exit the setting • How to delete the setting Press button to select the setting number. Then press and ENTER buttons at the same time for 3 seconds to delete that set of setting

- Mistake E2: the location of left and right mistakes,
- Mistake E5: the clock mistake
MAINTENANCE
Replacing Ribbon Cassette
Bring the setup switch to the left. This will move the ribbon cassette in a better position to change ribbon, when finished, move the setup switch back to the right.
Always tighten the ribbon by turning the knob clockwise after replacing the ribbon cassette
NOTES FOR DAILY USE.
- Escape It from punching.
- Avoid exposure to water or excess dust.
- Keep away from heat and organic solution
- Check the Panasonic Button Battery which can last 1 year in normal condition.
