Cable Management Numbers-Up Style Racks

  • Part Number(s): R2P48, R2P, R2PS, R2PW, R2P96, R2PWH
  • The Cable Management Numbers-Up Style Racks are designed to provide efficient cable management solutions for various applications. These racks are available in different sizes and configurations to accommodate different needs.
  • The maximum weight load of the rack is 1,000 pounds, except for the R2P48 model which has a maximum weight load of 300 pounds. It is important to evenly distribute the weight across the height of the rack and mount the heaviest components at the bottom to ensure stability.
  • The top angles of the rack are not intended to support a significant load and should be used for cable management purposes only.
  • The racks come with pre-drilled holes for easy mounting to the floor. Different mounting hardware options are available based on the floor construction, including concrete, raised floor, or wood.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Apply Antioxidant Paste to the painted surfaces that will come in contact with the 3/8 paint piercing washers.
  2. Install the top angles to the upright channels using (2) 3/8×1 bolts, (2) 3/8 nuts, and (4) 3/8 paint piercing washers per angle. Finger tighten only.
  3. Install the base angles to the vertical upright channels using (4) 3/8×1 bolts, (4) 3/8 nuts, and (8) 3-16 paint piercing washers per angle. Finger tighten only.
  4. Square the rack by measuring the distance from point A to point D and point B to point C. The difference in distance should be no greater than 1/8.
  5. Completely tighten all bolts to at least 14 ft.-lbs (19.0 N-m) using an appropriate tool.
  6. Mount the rack to the floor securely using the appropriate hardware based on the floor construction (concrete, raised floor, or wood). Use the holes closest to the rack to minimize deflection.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

RACK ASSEMBLY

  • Apply Antioxidant Paste to painted surfaces that the 3/8 paint piercing washers will come in contact with. Install top angles to upright channels using (2) 3/8×1” bolts (2) 3/8” nuts and (4) 3/8” paint piercing washer (see figure below) per angle. Finger tighten only.
  • Apply Antioxidant Paste to painted surfaces that the 3/8 paint piercing washers will come in contact with.Install the base angles to the vertical upright channels using (4) 3/8×1” bolts (4) 3/8” nuts and (8) 3-16 paint piercing washers (see figure below) per angle. Finger tighten only.
  • Square the rack by measuring the distance from A to D, and B to C shown.. The difference in distance from A to D, and B to C should be no greater than 1/8”. Completely tighten all bolts to at least 14 ft.-lbs (19.0 N-m).

MOUNT RACK TO FLOOR

  • Securely mount the rack to the floor using the appropriate hardware based on the floor construction (concrete, raised floor, or wood).
  • Note: Mounting using the holes closest to the rack will minimize deflection.

Note: The maximum weight load of the rack is.

1,000 pounds with the exception of the R2P48, which is 300 lbs. The weight should be evenly distributed across the height of the rack, with the heaviest components mounted at the bottom of the rack. The top angles are not intended to support a significant load.
