PRECAUTIONS

Welcome to use Deerma humidifier, please read through this manual before use.

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard
  3. Clean the water tank every three days.
  4. Be aware that high humidity levels may encourage the growth of biological organisms in the environment.
  5. D0 not permit the area around the humidifier to become damp or wet. If dampness occurs, turn the output of the humidifier down. If the humidifier output volume cannot be turned down, use the humidifier intermittently. Do not allow absorbent  aterials, such as carpeting, curtains, drapes, or tablecloths, to become damp.
  6. WARNING: Micro-organisms that may be present in the water or in the environment where the appliance is sed or stored, can grow in the reservoir and be blown in the air causing very serious health risks when the water is not renewed and the tank is not cleaned properly every 3 days.
  7. The supply voltage must be consistent with the rated voltage of the product. If the supply voltage is not consistent with the rated voltage, please contact the distributor and do not use the product;
  8. Please place the humidifier at room temperature for 30 minutes before using it to prevent water tank from being damaged due to sudden change of temperature;
  9. Please use it at normal room temperature (5°C to 40°C);
  10. Please place in a flat position to avoid tilting;
  11. Please do not put the humidifier directly on the waod floor when using, to protect the wood floor from being deformed and damaged due to moisture;
  12. Please place the humidifier 2 m away from furnitures and electrical appliances to avoid damp
  13. Keep it away from heat source and avoid direct sunlight:
  14. Never add hot water above 40°C into the water tank to avoid damaging the appliance;
  15. Do not let water flow into the appliance from the air outlet. Please wipe the water on the body of appliance with a dry cloth to avoid damaging the appliance
  16. When the room temperature is below 0°C, please pour out the water in the water tank to avoid damaging the appliance due to freezing;
  17. Please do not put metals, chemicals, detergents into the water tank, or the bad atomization phenomenon will occur;
  18. Please turn off the power and unplug the plug before pouring out the water in the tank;
  19. 8e sure to turn off the power and unplug the plug before moving, cleaning and filling water; do not move the appliance at will during working;
  20. D0 not inject water into mist outlet and air outlet;
  21. When cleaning please avoid water entering the appliance;
  22. D0 not disassemble the original parts of the appliance.
  23. Unplug the appliance during fillng and cleaning
  24. Never leave water in the reservoir when the appliance is not in use.
  25. Empty and clean the humidifier before storage. Clean the humidifier before next use.
  26. The appliance is only to be used with the unit provided

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  1. Please use the voltage and frequency as specified for this appliance: 220-2407~50-60Hz
  2. D0 not disassemble, repair or reconstruct the appliance without permission
  3. the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard
  4. In case of any abnormal phenomenon, please unplug the power plug immediately. It must be repaired by the manufacturer or its maintenance department or similar specialist.
  5. Clean dust on power plug regularly.
  6. Please tur off the power and unplug it before cleaning or moving,
  7. When unplugging the power plug, please hold the power plug tightly instead of pulling the supply lead.
  8. Do not move or turn over the appliance with power supply or water in the water tank.
  9. Do not touch the water and components in the water tank with power supply.
  10. Do not cover air inlet and mist outlet with towel and other items when the humidifier is working
  11. This s not a toy. To avoid accidents, keep it away from infants and children; do not place it in a crib, stroller or playpen; do not allow infants and children to play with and use the humidifier
  12. Do not put the humidifier on the inclined table, it should be placed in a flat and firm place.
  13. Please do not add essence or other similar substances not produced or supervised by the company in the water tank of the humidifier.
  14. Do not use it in the kitchen, keep it away from heat source, avoid direct sunlight, and keep it 2 m away from furniture and other household appliances to avoid damp.
  15. Please unplug the plug when filling with water

Warning

  • The humidifier is intended for indoor use only. Do not operate the humidifier outdoors.
  • Always ensure that there is water in the water tank before operating the humidifier
  • Use only clean, cool water to fill the water tank Place the humidifier on a smooth, level, waterproof surface that is elevated off the ground
  • Do not install the humidifier near children, walls, furniture or electrical appliances.
  • Always handle the humidifier with dry hands to avoid electric shock.
  • Do not operate the humidifier with a damaged cord or plug
  • Unplug the humidifier when not in use.
  • Do not cover the mist outlet on the humidifier or insert objects into the mist outlet
  • Never scrape transduicer on your own,
  • Do not leave the humidifierina closed room as the air could become saturated and leave condensation on walls or furniture.
  • Leave room door partially open when the humidifier is being operated.
  • This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with it.
  •  Keep this User Manual for future reference.

Important Guidelines for Installing Humidifier

  • Use of other 2.4 GHz products such as other wireless networks, Bluetooth” systems or microwave ovens may cause interference with this product Keep the humidifier away from these types of products, or turn them off if they appear to be causing interference.

LIMITED WARRANTY

This product is warranted to be free from manufacturing defects under normal use and conditions for1 year. The warranty will be invalid if the unitis damaged by accident,  improper repair or failure to follow safety instructions provided with the product. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or commercial use.
You can’t transfer the warranty to subsequent owners of the product.
Liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement.in no event shallliabilty exceed the purchase price paid by the purchaser of the product

HOW TO USE

  How to fill water
Method 1:

  1. Remove the tank cover;
  2. Take out the water tank;
  3. Note that the foam used to fix the floating ball needs to be removed during the first use;
  4. Fill the water tank with cold tap water or purified water under the faucet according to the picture on the right Itis prohibited to fill water in the mist outlet pipe.deerma DEM-F15W Humidifier - Pipe

Method 2:

  1. Remove the tank cover;
  2. Fill the water tank with water.It is prohibited to fill water in the mist outlet pipe.

Caution: Please follow the first method of iling water for the fist time. (The picture isfor reference only, lease refer to the real product)
How to install water tank
If the first method is used to fill water, the LOGO side of the water tank and the console shall be installed on the same side when the water tank is placed back to the base. How to adjust mist outlet direction
The mist outlet can be rotated 360°, and can be adjusted according to your own needs, so that the mist will flow in the direction you need. Optional: Add a few drops of your favorite essential ail to the pad in the tray.
(Oil not included)
Warning: DO NOT add ils or other additives directly into the water tank Add only to the pad in the tray. Oils added to the tank will damage the tank and the whole unit. Any use of such additives in the tank will void the manufacture’s warranty. deerma DEM-F15W Humidifier -
OilsOperation Instruction

deerma DEM-F15W Humidifier - Controller Caution:
Itis recommended to reduce the mist volume if the indoor temperature is t00 low and the humidity is too high, and the mist cannot be fully diffused.

Button Function
Power/ Standby 1) In the standby mode, press this button to enter the startup

mode. The 03-grade mist humidification will work by default, the ambient light will light up, and the screen will display the current ambient humidity.
2) In the startup mode, press this button to shut down the humidifier, and enter the standby mode.
3) In standby mode, long press and hold the Power/Standby button for 3 seconds to access the APP network.
4) In the startup mode, long press and hold the Power/Standby button for 3 seconds to enter the sleep mode.
5) In any mode, press the Power/Standby button to shut down the humidifier, and the fan will stop after 15 seconds of delay.
Mist Volume Mode| 1) In the startup made, the 02-grade mist humidification is active by pressing this button for the first time, and 02 is displayed on the dual-& screen.
2) Press this button repeatedly to change the mist volume in a cycle of02-01-03-02 grades. The current ambient humidity is displayed after 3 seconds of inactivity.
3) When water shortage occurs or the humidifier is shut down by pressing the Power button (without power-off), restart the humidifier. The humidifier works at the mist level before power off.
 Constant Humidity| 1) In the startup mode, press this button to set the humidifier at 40% – 45% – 50% – 55% – 60% – 65% – 70% – 75% – 80% RH-F (F is to cancel the constant humidity mode).
2) The set humidity is displayed during operation, and the current ambient humidity is displayed after 3 seconds of inactivity, (The Mist Volumebutton cannot be operated in constant humidity mode.)
Timer| 1) In the startup mode, press this button to set the humidifier at 40% – 45% – 50% – 55% ei – 65% – 70% – 75% – 80% RH-F (F is to cancel the constant humidity
mode).
2) The set humidity is displayed during operation, and the current ambient humidity is displayed after 3 seconds of inactivity, (The Mist Volumebutton cannot be operated in constant humidity mode.)
Sleep| 1) In the startup mode, press this button on the controller once, to turn off the digital tube by pressing it for the first time, and turn off the ambient light by
pressing it for the second time.
2) In sleep mode, press the Power button to directly shut down the humidifier. Activate the dual-8 screen by pressing any of all buttons other than the Child Lock button for the first time (the ambient light is not activated), while exit the sleep mode and operate the functions by pressing such button for the second time. If no button is operated after the dual -8 screen is activated, the humidifier will enter the sleep mode after 5 seconds.
Child Lock| 1) Press the Child Lock button to activate the child lock function during the work. When the mark lights up, all buttons other than the Child Lock button cannot be operated, accompanied by three warning sounds. Press the Child Lock button once in the active state of child lock to turn off the child lock function, and the mark will light off.
2) The sleep mode is active as well in the child lock mode. By pressing any button, the screen displays the current status and then turns off after 5 seconds.
Note: Child lock function cannot be memorized!
| In the standby mode, long press the Power button for 3 seconds and turn on the Bluetooth function of the phone to access the APP network:

  1. When WIFI is being connected, the white light of WIFI icon flashes at the frequency of one-second ON and one-second OFF.
  2. During the network connection, the white light of WIFI icon flashes at the frequency of 0.2-second ON and 0.2-second OFF.
  3. When connecting to the cloud, the white light of WIFI icon is always ON.
  4. If the network is not connected within three minutes of standby, the WIFI will be disconnected automatically. The network needs to be configured again.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Caution
The power cord must be unplugged before cleaning.
The humidifier must be regularly cleaned to remove scale and sundries in the water tank. Cleaning every three days is recommended.
How to clean water tank and base
How to clean water sink and atomizer cloth that is clean and soft. Wipe up them directly withwet
Clean them with detergent or clear water, and thoroughly flush them after cleaning. (The picture is for reference only, lease refer to th real product)

TROUBLESHOOTING

Abnomal noise| The machine is not positioned properly, is tilted or is unstable| • Put it on a solid table or use it on a flat surface
There is water in the water tank but it shows a water shortage state, and the humidifier does not work for a long time| If the machine is too inclined at a certain angle, thejwater level in the sink is judged to be too low, andthe machine automatically protects and shuts down.| • Place the machine on a flat and firm place and keep it steady
