Intended use:

The product Fame AP – 30 was designed as an amplifi er for electronic drums. Incorrect use of the product is considered improper and can lead to physical injury or property damage.
Damage resulted by improper use is not liable.
It must be ensured that the device is operated exclusively by trained and expert users who are in full possession of their mental, physical and sensory abilities. Use of other persons is expressly permitted only at the request of a person responsible for their safety who instructs or supervises the use.

Installation:

Be sure to inspect the device for damage before using. Use the original packaging or suitable transport or storage packaging to protect the product effectively against infl uences such as dust or moisture, etc when not in use.

Operating:

Make sure every other devices are plugged in before switching on. Use only high quality cables for the connections.

Safety instructions:

DANGER! (For Babies and Children)
Wrapping, plastic foils and other packaging material must be properly stored or disposed of. It should be kept out of the reach of babies and children due to the risk of suffocation.
Ensure that children never use the device unattended! Also make sure that children do not remove any (small) parts from the device, as they could choke if swallowed!
DANGER! (electric shock due to high voltages in the device)
Do not remove the case. There are no repairable parts in the unit. There are components under high electrical voltage inside.
The device must not be used if damage or the absence of components, protective devices or housing parts is noticed!
DANGER! (electric shock caused by short circuit)
Modifi cations to the mains cable or the mains plug are prohibited.
Failure to do so may result in infl amation or fatal injury due to an electric shock!
Warning! (Fire Hazard)
Make sure that the device is not exposed to any direct heat source and is used away from open fi re. Never block or cover ventilation slots or the device itself.
Warning! (Service Conditions)
Due to its structural characteristics, the device is designed for indoor use. Do not expose the device to rain, moisture or liquids, as this can cause damage. Vibrations, dirt or sunlight can also lead to damage, these must be avoided!
Warning! (Power Supply)
Make sure that the device voltage matches your local mains voltage. It is strongly recommended to protect your mains socket with a residual current circuit breaker (RCD).
If you do not use your device for a longer period of time, disconnect the device from the mains to minimize risks. The same applies to weather conditions such as thunderstorms or fl oods, etc.
Warning! (Falling hazard)
It must be ensured that the device complies with all legal standards and regulations in the respective country of use. Ensure that the device is always secured by a second mounting cable (e.g. Safety).
Warning! (Overheating)
The maximum permissible ambient temperature of this device is 40° C.
Ensure that the unit is always adequately ventilated.
Warning! (Using Stands)
As soon as the device is mounted on a stand, a safe and fi rm base must always be ensured. Ensure that the maximum permissible load capacity of your tripod is not exceeded.
Warning! (Fault during data transmission)
Never connect the DMX input or output to audio devices such as power amplifi ers or mixing consoles!
DMX cables enable interference-free operation and the highest possible transmission reliability of signal data.
Do not use microphone cables!
Note! (Possible damage due to magnetic fi elds)
Loudspeakers create a static magnetic fi eld. Please maintain an appropriate distance to other devices that may be affected by an external magnetic field or may be damaged.

  1. Power switch
    Turns the power on/off. (If there‘s no input signal detected for about 20 Minutes, the amplifi er turns off.)

  2. Treble knob
    Control treble level

  3. Middle knob
    Control middle level

  4. Bass knob
    Control Bass level

  5. AUX Volume knob
    Turn this knob to control the output level of the external audio signal.

  6. Drum Volume Knob
    Turn this knob to control the output level of digital drum.

  7. AUX-IN Jack
    Input jack for connecting external audio equipment.

  8. DrumIN Jack (left and right)
    Input jack for digital drum.

Notice

  • If using power supply is not consistent with what the amplifi er required, the fuse may be damaged.
  • If the amplifi er does not work normally, please check if the fuse is OK.

Connections

Plug in the AC power jack

  1. Ensure the amplifi er has turned off while connecting and disconnecting the power.
  2. Connect the power cable to the AC power jack on the rear panel.
  3. Plug the power cable into an AC power outlet.

Plug in the Drum IN jack

  1. Connect the digital drum source and the amplifier DRUM IN jack with an audio line when the amplifier is powered off.
  2. The volume of the digital drum could be adjusted by the DRUM VOLUME knob.

Plug in the AUX jack

  1. You could play drums along with your favorite song, simply connect your external audio device (such as MP3/CD player) to the AUX IN jack.
  2. The volume of the external audio device could be adjusted by the AUX VOLUME knob.

Warning
Be sure to turn down the volume of AP30 before connecting audio cable. Inserting jack into the connectors can cause noise which may damage the speakers of the amplifier.

Cleaning:

Regular cleaning of the device from dirt and dust increases the shelf life of the product. Always disconnect the unit from the power supply while cleaning. Optical lenses should be cleaned with a dry microfi ber cloth. This also optimises the light output. Never clean the device wet! Ventilation grilles and openings should always be free of dust and dirt.
Compressed air sprays are ideal for dust removal.

Environmental Protection:

Please recycle the packaging after use.
Disposal of packaging:
Ensure that paper packaging, plastic material, etc. are recycled separately.Observe the labels and the corresponding regulations.
Disposal of your old device:
This device is subject to the WEEE directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) in its current valid form. The device must not be disposed of with normal household waste.
The device is disposed of via an approved disposal company or your local waste disposal centre. The regulations valid in your country must be observed!
