STEEL GREEN SG46 Zero-Turn Sprayer

Product Information

The 7 GAL. SUPPLEMENTAL TANK is a product designed for use with Models SG46 and SG52. It is a supplemental tank that can be assembled and installed on the left or right side of the frame. The tank is made in the USA by Steel Green Mfg. and comes with a parts list and assembly instructions.

Assembly Instructions

1. STEP ONE : Disconnect the battery by removing the ground wire first and then the power wire.
2. STEP TWO: Remove the existing storage container and support bracket from the frame. Note that the instructions are the same for both the right and left side.
3. STEP THREE: Assemble the supplemental tank using the provided hex nuts (HFNCS-516S) and carriage bolts (CB-51634).
4. STEP FOUR: Attach the suction and return lines to the tank as shown by following the blue arrows. Securely fasten them using 3/4 hose clamps.
5. STEP FIVE: Repeat steps three and four for the other side of the frame.
6. STEP SIX: Install parts A and B as indicated in the exploded view diagrams.
7. STEP SEVEN : Reconnect the battery power wire first, followed by the pump power wire from the wiring harness, and then reconnect the ground wire.

INSTALLATION

STEP ONE : Disconnect the battery, ground first and then power wire.

STEP TWO: Remove the existing storage container and support bracket from the frame.
NOTE: Instructions are the same for the right and left side.

STEP THREE: Install the supplemental tank to the frame as shown.

NOTE

• Instructions are the same for the right and left side.
• Parts are shown clearly for clarity.

NOTE:

• Before beginning step four, BE SURE there is no pressure on the lines and fluid is drained.
• Parts were removed for clarity.

STEP FOUR

• Carefully cut and install the “tee” fittings in the “suction” and “return” lines as shown (blue arrows). Securely fasten with 3/4 hose clamps.
• Next, install the 90-degree elbows.

STEP FIVE:

NOTE: Slide the protective wrap over the hose and secure it with zip ties before connecting.

• Measure and cut 1/2” hose and connect one end to the suction port on the bottom of the 7 gallon tank and the other end to the “tee” fitting in the suction line.
• Route the hose between the upright and the tank.
• Securely fasten each end with 1/2” hose clamp.

STEP SIX:
NOTE: Slide the protective wrap over the hose and secure it with zip ties before connecting.

• Measure and cut 1/2” hose, connecting one end to the return port on the top of the 7 gal-lon tank and the other end to the “tee” fitting in the return line.
• Route the hose between the upright and the tank.
• Securely fasten each end with 1/2” hose clamps.

STEP SEVEN: Reconnect the battery power wire first along with the pump power wire from the wiring harness, and then reconnect the ground wire.
