Installation Instructions for
C 1364, CO1374, C 1383, CO1392, CO1401 1.0
OUTDOOR
GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION:
These fixtures are intended to be installed utilizing NEC compliant junction
boxes.
This product is safety listed for wet locations. Incandescent version may be
dimmed with a standard incandescent dimmer. LED version may be dimmed with a
LED dimmer. Consult lamp manufacturer for additional information.
This instruction shows a typical installation.
CAUTION – RISK OF FIRE This product must be installed in accordance with
the applicable ell installation code by a person familiar with the
construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved. Use
minimum 90°c supply conductors.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS!
Install the Fixture
- Temporarily install the mounting plate to the junction box
- Mark the anchor locations through the holes on the mounting plage. Remove the mounting plate.
- Drill appropriate sized holes and install the anchors at the marked locations.
- Secure the mounting plate to the junction box and screw the anchor screws through the anchors.
- Connect the fixture to a suitable ground in accordance to local electrical codes.
- Connect the white fixture wire (square and/or rigid) to the neutral power line wire with a wire nut.
- Connect the black fixture wire (round and/or smooth) to the hot power line wire with a wire nut.
- Neatly place all the wires into the junction box, place the canopy onto the mounting plate, and secure it in place using the fixture screws.
- Install the side glass panels by carefully inserting them in the frame and securing them using the small clips.
- Install the top glass panels by carefully inserting them in the cover and securing them using the large clips and clip screws.
- Install the cover to the top of the frame using the cover screws.
- First insert the glass panel into the card slot of the door frame on one side of the frame, then align the glass edge on the other side with the card slot on the other side, gently press panel the glass into the card slot, and finally push the glass panel into the card slot Inner door frame bottom.
- Install the candle tubes by sliding them over the sockets.
- Screw the lamps into the sockets. Refer to the label on the lamp socket for Max Wattage Information.
- For wet locations, caulk around the base of the fixture with waterproof construction sealant.
