Product Information
The Eclipse Sun Shade is a front shade designed for JL and
Gladiator 4-Door models. It comes with the following
components:
- Sun Shade – Quantity: 1
- Mesh Storage Bag – Quantity: 1
- Loop Strip – Quantity: 1
The shade has been designed to remain in place even when the soft top is closed. It is supplied with a mesh storage bag that can be conveniently stored in either the center console or glove box.
Product Usage Instructions
To use the Eclipse Sun Shade, follow these steps:
- Fold the OE soft top or remove the OE hard as per the owner’s manual instructions.
- Loosely position the Sun Shade on top of the sports bar, ensuring that the hook and loop section is facing forward and downward.
- Clean the center of the windshield frame thoroughly with alcohol. Peel and stick the Loop Strip to the windshield frame, avoiding contact with the interior plastic panel.
- Attach the Sun Shade hook and loop section to the attached Loop Strip.
- Secure the Sun Shade by looping the straps around the sports bar in an alternating pattern. Do not fully tighten the straps at this time.
- Once all straps are secure, repeat the pattern and pull tight to fully secure the Sun Shade.
- For side locations, ensure that the straps only wrap around the sports bar and not the door surrounds.
Ensure that you follow these instructions carefully to properly install and use the Eclipse Sun Shade.

- The Eclipse Sun Shade has been designed to work for 2dr and 4dr models.
- The design allows shade to remain in place with the soft top closed.
- Eclipse shade has been supplied with a mesh storage bag.
- Bag and Shade can be stored in either the center console or glove box.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
- Fold OE soft top or remove OE hardtop. Refer to the owner’s manual.
- Loosely position Sun Shade on top of a sports bar with a hook and loop section forward. The attaching material of the hook and loop section should face downward.
- Clean the center of the windshield frame thoroughly with alcohol. Peel and stick the Loop Strip to the windshield frame avoiding contact with the interior plastic panel.
- Attach the Sun Shade hook and loop section to the attached Loop Strip.
- In an alternating pattern, secure Sun Shade by looping straps around sports bar. DO NOT fully tighten at this time. Once all straps are secure, repeat the pattern and pull tight.
NOTICE On side locations, make sure straps only wrap around sports bar and not door surrounds.
