Installation Instructions

Remove spare tire. On vehicles equipped with a third brake light, remove wiring cover inside the tailgate.
Note where each wire is attached, then disconnect and route wires out of the cover bracket.

Pass Third Brake Light wiring through tail gate. Remove Third Brake Light assembly.

Install (3) M12 Bolts and (3) M12 Lock Washers into Tire Carrier Bracket from the back side as shown.
For 5 x 4.5″ bolt pattern wheels, use the bottom hole, and the two closest to it.
For 5 x 5.5″ bolt pattern wheels, use the bottom hole and the two furthest from it.

Remove original Tire Carrier. Keep the hardware, as it will be reused.

Hang the Angle Bracket using original hardware in the top mounting holes. The slots go against the body. Do not tighten hardware yet.

Hang the Tire Carrier on the Angle Bracket. Fasten to the tailgate in the original bottom holes using original hardware. Fasten to the Angle Bracket using (2) M8 Bolts, (4) M8 Flat Washers, (2) M8 Lock Washers, and (2) M8 Nuts. Once in place, Tighten all fastener

If applicable, route third brake light wiring through large slot in top of Tire Carrier, and place brake light assembly on top of Tire Carrier. Use (4) M8 Bolts, (8) M8 Flat Washers, (4) M8 Lock Washers, and (4) M8 Nuts. Once all are in place, tighten them. Re-route wiring and plug it back into contacts.

Replace Spare Tire.
