Product Usage Instructions

  1. Both sides of the vehicle’s lower rocker panels should be cleaned with soap and water up to the door line. Dry the surface with a clean cloth.
  2. Rub the entire side with a promoter to remove any dirt and soap residue that may contaminate the adhesive tape used to secure the rocker guards. Allow the panel to dry.
  3. Remove all 10mm bolts used to secure the front fender to the lower rocker panel.
  4. Place the rocker guards into position. Do not remove the red liner at this time. Visually inspect the fit of the part to confirm that the mounting holes are aligned. Install bolts, washers, and lock nuts loosely. The rocker guard will hang away from the vehicle.
  5. Peel the red liner from the back of the tape, working from the outer edges inward. Make sure that all tape covering is pulled back at the same time to ensure that all protective covering is removed during installation. Note: The help of a second person is recommended for this step.
  6. Attach the rocker guard to the vehicle, keeping the part aligned to the vehicle’s surface. Apply pressure to ensure a strong bond. Tighten bolts and nuts. Note: The help of a second person is recommended for this step.
  7. Repeat steps 1-6 for the opposite side of the vehicle.
